As you can imagine, with nearly 10,000 pages of very complex storytelling and with more than 1,700 named characters, THE WHEEL OF TIME is an extremely challenging story to adapt to a feature-length film. Quite frankly, the project was too challenging for some studios, because of the size of the literary work, its depth, the required budget, etc. The WHEEL OF TIME is an epic on the scale of STAR WARS!
You want xmodmap. I used it myself to change capslock to 0, along with some other minor changes.

For some people, crime is the only way they see out of poverty. And for those who may not, there's a lot of social intertia and pressure into doing what everyone around you does. The way it works is a first-time criminal goes to jail with fellow criminals, and comes out hardened, with knowledge of how to be a more effective criminal. It's a really dumb system.
It's a bad situation that will only change with a change in US culture, and US culture will only change with a revolution. No country has ever changed their culture/values through a voluntary introspection into which values create the most productive society.

MAC filtering is snake-oil, it offers as little protection as WEP. It's trivially easy to spoof MAC addresses. You honestly think someone could crack WPA2 encryption, but wouldn't be able to spoof a MAC address? MAC filtering with or without WPA2 is extra work for no gain.
I just tested this 1 is wrong. Variables can NOT be bound unbound and rebound. You are thinking of the f() function which *only* works in the interactive emulator (erl). It's purpose is to stop you from running out of sane variable names while trying things out. The f/0 and f/1 only work inside the shell, if you try to call it in a compiled program it does nothing and you will get an error.
Why should someone who works harder, innovates, starts their own business, or pursues a higher-wage career be penalized? It is not 'unfair' that some people have higher salaries than others.
I've often "pirated" a game, because it came with DRM, or I've lost the original disc. The publishers have still made money, but as far as the law is concerned they're equally illegal.
I know it's difficult, but did you considered moving? Liquidate your non-essential assets, fit the rest in your car and drive to somewhere better (assuming there is one).
What about telecommuting, or webdesign(self-employed)? Many people want websites, and it's not like making them is any harder than hacking out some code. $50-$100 for a personal site that takes 1-4hrs to do is a lot better than nothing. It just seems hard to believe that you couldn't find a job in 18 months even if it was unpleasant, and in an unrelated field.
I can see where you're coming from, but all randomness really means is that something "Can't be [accurately] predicted." So as far as RNG are concerned they are random because the only way to determine them is to know the seed and do the algorithm. And that isn't prediction, that's observation. Prediction is finding a pattern, a simplification that allows results to be known without requiring perfect knowledge of the initial state.
That in essence is what science is. It finds patterns and generalities that allow for accurate predictions. This does mean that previously random things, such as the weather eventually stop being random. Someone might say "Oh well weather was never really random it just seemed that way", but they're missing the point. There's no way to know if something currently unpredictable will become predictable in the future, and that's why the best understanding of random is "Something that can't [currently] be predicted."
If someone takes the position that randomness is "Something that can never be predicted" then anytime they say something is random they are making a statement of faith, as they are ignoring the evidience of previously unpredictable things that are now predictable. The only decent conclusion someone could make using this analysis is that nothing is random. Clearly this interpretation is wrong as people often communicate with the word random. So anyone who takes this stance is speaking their own private language, and is not speaking english.
As far as this relates to RNGs, I'd say a RNG is no longer random, once given any sequence of N numbers the rest of the sequence can be determined. While this can be done to some weak RNGs, I find it unlikely that this can be done to every RNG, especially without knowing the implementation. Until a generic attack against RNGs is found they are literally random.
I've been an Opera fan since they took out the ads. Anyways Opera 9.5 with flash on linux plays youtube videos somewhat stuttery and if a tab with a flash video is left open for a few hours the browser mem leaks and begins hogging all the CPU. I'm pretty disappointed because before this Opera has never mem leaked, never crashed, it was an extremely stable browser. One time I accidentally opened 100+ tabs simultaneously, and it did fine.
