    And if you're in a country like mine (Indonesia), they deliberately withhold bandwidth from us since they can make more and more money from us that way.

    Unlimited DSL? ~US$80/month with speeds up to 1Mbps while in reality I've never gotten past 384kbps. Oh, but they currently do have limited offer 50% off monthly fees!...still expensive.

    Unlimited Cable? ~US$40/month with speeds of up to 128kbps SHARED with up to 15 other users in the same node.

    Unlimited 3G? ~US$22/month with speeds of up to 384kbps, BUT once you get over the 3GB quota/mo. the speed is capped to 64kbps. Go for the more expensive plan at around US$50/mo. and you get up to 3.6mbps! but still capped to 3GB quota, after that you get capped to 128kbps............ *doh*

    My country has one of the most expensive telecom cost in the world, they're not even trying to hide that and still nothing is getting done to change that.

    Deathstar I and II's destructions were 3 years apart
    Considering the astronomers are still puzzled at what they received 6 years ago, and that there isn't any mention if it happened again 3 years afterwards (3 years ago), so we can deduct that it was the second Deathstar!

    Now to finally confirm it, they just had to roll back their logs to 9 years ago or so for similiar readings!

    I feel so brilliant! yet so geeky at the same time...

    That you dont even live in developing or 3rd world countries as I do ;) Where I am right now, we're lucky to have 24/7 broadband at all, a whopping 64kbps cable connection which is SHARED with 15 other consumer per node for only ~USD35/month, but if you want the speed for yourself, there's the 128kbps for only ~USD130/month, oh, some ISP around here announced a speed improvement to up to 512kbps few months ago, weeee! I hope that gets to my area soon :P It's the problem with humanity, they never get satisfied :D PS: I studied in the states, so I experienced the joy of 1.5 Mbps broadband ;)

    No matter how good a game is, you'll eventually get bored with it (IMHO), but that doesn't mean you're not gonna replay the game again, you might in the future for nostalgic reasons (I know I did replay my old games for those reasons, such as Heroes of Might and Magic series, I always go back to see that giant as-big-as-a-purple-dragon fairy :P)

    But we're not talking about single player game here are we? I still think it goes the same for MMORPG, how many people still plays Diablo II over bnet compared to the number of people who played when the game was at its prime?

    There's always a higher mountain, sooner or later another title will take WoW's throne, that's my personal opinion.

    ...Likelyhood is that Sony manfacters the Blu-ray drives in house...

    Or maybe they can use other manufacturers? I don't know about console optical drives, but I know for a fact that some Sony PC optical drives uses Lite-On OEM :)

    I like Lite-On, they make good optical drives/writers... ^^

    Why not inscribe it using something else that lasts longer?

    ...instead of pushing them around and spending all our efforts on advertising instead of actual, innovative, interesting products... Exactly, the US can do with more bonus in their products. Most of the audio CDs I bought in the US only has a cd and a front+back cover, nothing else.
    Compare it to the Japanese audio CDs I buy all the time? a booklet thicker than the CD, complete with lyrics! (why do the western CDs usually lack them? afraid of "infringement"? the last Japanese piano CD album I bought even has the MUSICAL SHEET with it)
    Seeing that both has the same price, I know its obvious to which one I would buy...
