I'm new to Linux. Been using Windows all my life, but wanted to get into Linux for server purposes. I installed Mandrake 10.1 and my mouse would not work. I finally figured out how to go in and change it, but this is a perfect example of what an average user would not put up with in an OS.
Going to try Wine.9 tonight so maybe some of my MS apps will port nicely.
Did any one else read this as "First Geek Computer Reconstructed"? I thought for sure my grand grandpappy would be on the front page. He's the geek of all geeks....wait....er....no...he's just Greek.

Man and to think I almost got the "P2P Nazi" client. Now that would have been inappropriate.
I'd be curious to see how many copies of the GTA series was sold due to people talking negatively about it. I for one checked it out just to see how bad it really was.
Now if only more people talked about how bad Shaq-Fu was maybe it would have had the same success.
Duh! I would have thought MS would have been smarter than to fall for this. I mean if it only took me 2 times to realize a Nigerian price really doesn't get my money, then for sure the MS company should get it the first time...
Agreed! Acid beats anything! Whoa - was that Snoopy I just saw? My parents have been using ACID since the 60's and they are doing ok. Well...minus a few flashbacks.
The only real problem I've ever had with iTunes is the sound quality. They're usually around 128kbit, which is fine if all you have is a set of GameBoy ear buds.
Are there any music stores that have music at higher quality?

I just hope the word "Web" on their main page doesn't keep going further and further to the right that eventually it is simply dropped.
