Don't know if I'd call that free. He did pay to have those clothes made, didn't he? And what about all the people who pay for the privilege of advertising his brand?
In the last couple years, there have been a ton of retail exclusives. There are a few distributors who won't sell us movies that have some bogus exclusivity, but you know who will? Best Buy. We just buy em there, and rent em out just like anything else. The only thing we can't effectively get a large quantity of are the Netflix exclusives, but those are usually more obscure movies(which my store specializes in).
What I really hate are the "Rental Exclusive" editions of movies which have long, unskipable previews before the movie.
It's not like they're the only ones either. Birds, ants, spiders, gofers, and a whole lot more build structures to live more comfortably in. Humans need to stop thinking they are so special.
You've got a point. Being right handed, I could probably do some light surgery on my left hand, but would have a much harder time operating on the other hand.
I don't know what's truer, that, or there being almost zero good Nintendo DS games.
I bought my Nintendo DS when it first came out way back when. Along the way there have maybe been a dozen games that weren't either extremely easy or contained a great lack of fun. Maybe I'm just too old to enjoy a linear jRPG with terrible dialogue and combat that solely amounts to me being the team water boy, serving the potions when they're needed.
They thought there would be insufficient motivation. But like many other 18th century beliefs, they were mistaken: don't forget that many of the founders owned slaves, too.
We in the 21st century now know that copyright is not required to motivate people to spend time and energy to produce such content: millions of people do it every day, for free, just because they like to share their creations.
Some owned slaves, but not all. Benjamin Franklin co-founded the first antislavery society in the Americas. George Washington eventually released his slaves.
The Fathers were divided on many, many issues. They had the same sort of useless, base-pandering politicians back then that we have now. Only, back then, there was a huge push to make things anti monarchist and pro individualist.
You say that there a millions of people who spend time and energy to create content that is given out for free. Imagine how many more there would be if creative people could infuse their ideas with things that inspired them as a child, things that have been around for longer than half a century before they were born, without worrying about getting sued for an absolutely ridiculous sum of money.
I think we've reached a point where pirates are not just a fringe group of people who just don't want to pay for games, but are actually the competition. They are releasing a similar product to yours(in fact, it is your product) only it's better.
Normal people who have, apparently, forgotten how to laugh at themselves. Everybody's life is full of pain and suffering, and is nothing but a cruel joke. You can either be in on the joke and enjoy your life, or wallow in self pity, getting offended at everything that mentions your hilarious human condition on the internet.
But Obsidian's only done sequels. Sequels that didn't live up to the originals(KotOR 2 and NWN 2). I agree that Black Isle was a great company and made some great games, but the same magic was not present in Obsidian, or Troika for that matter.
Or it is a memorization game: if i wait 3 seconds before running here they'll have their backs turned. That isn't skill or even luck at that point. You've just died and re spawned a bunch so you know when to go like some kind of psychic. Trial and error != fun.
That's where I think you're wrong. You should be able to observe your opponents and predict what they will do based on that observation. If you die a bunch, then you are obviously having trouble with a part of the game, and need all the help you can get to beat it.
So even if we do happen to pick up radio signals from the 100 or so year window, during which aliens would be broadcasting radio waves, by the time we hear them, they could have been long extinct due to some catastrophe.
not too practical to put the contract outside the box...
It's not on the outside of the box, because it's obscenely long and written in convoluted legalize. Which obscures the meaning of the contract to their target demographic.
D&D 4E can make adapting to party tangents much easier than earlier editions, especially if you use some of the software tools available, & not just the official ones.
Could you link to any of these software tools? I have the official character generator, which is very useful for updating your character sheets or making quick characters while presenting all available options to you. I'd like to see what some other good aids there are.

XXX means porn?! Looks like I'm going to have to rethink the domain name for my moonshine business.

You mean it's heirloom quality?

So why did he kill all those poor, innocent babies, then?
Maybe something easily tricked like Trade Federation Battledroids.
Or those turrets from Portal 1.

Pretty much your standard Gandalf-mines-of-Moria situation.

PC LOAD LETTER
I can't wait to fire it up.

And when they do see those signals, they will shit themselves when they see how good we are at killing aliens and promptly call us up to surrender.
It sure would suck for an alien species to evolve to have to come all the way out to earth and use humans as part of their reproductive cycle.
Unless every room was a holodeck.

I'm unemployed and don't go to school; my weekends last for seven days at a time.
