Natural selection is the exact opposite of evolution. You may need to understand a little bit here such as evolution is the actual building or increasing of genetic information which is the opposite of natural selection which is the reduction of the genetic information or the selection of existing genetic information.

No, a directory starting with a ! is "magic". It could contain a !boot file (what to do when the filer sees the directory for the first time), a !run file (what to do when the directory is double clicked), a !sprites file (containing the icons, which can also used for the directory itself).
