I demand a free SSH client now, who do I speak to?
Speak to Apple.
Why? Does Apple develop all applications on the app store?
Only Apple could give you a device with BSD Unix on it, and then block and make you pay extra money to run things like ssh, telnet, ftp, bash, perl, etc...
You can run all of those for free, either buy getting a (possibly) free app from the app store, or jailbreaking your device (in the case of bash and perl etc).
The demoscene DOES still exist, even on Amiga, Atari ST and so on. Just see sites like Pouet and scene.org. The focus has obviously moved away a bit from pushing the hardware, instead creating very visually appealing productions.
Informative? People who say things like that generally don't really know a thing about the scene or are just quite clueless. If Assembly is so shit, then it must be sheer luck that Assembly almost constantly has a high standard in the productions and lots of great prizes.
Oh, and Boozembly has been great this year too. (Boozembly is the 'event' that takes place in the hills behind the partyplace, and I guess the name says it all..)
This is early days, for sure, but I wonder if it will be possible to play UMD extracted games from a memory chip in the future (whenever 2GB chips are released...).
Maybe the warez guys will release games as 'rips', ie. downsized versions, as they sometimes do on the PS2. Like by downsampling/removing movies etc.
I can't remember who it was, probably the boss of Team Ninja or some other Japanese game developer that had an article in Edge a few years ago where he said that if he had the option of making all his games really intense and heart-pounding one-two hour experiences, he'd do so.
Unfortunately, the publisher and, well, the market doesn't really allow him to do so.

Here's a few:
Nokia 9500
Nokia 9300
Nokia 9300i
The E-Series might have something like that coming up, too.
Sort of like this then...
(just sort of)
Well, you know, "luder" is "whore" in swedish. So, uh, *cough*, etc...
Nintendo isn't the only games developer on their consoles, you know.

Anyone remembers the good old days when you actually had to be a genius to code a demo like Second Reality?
The funny thing is that it wasn't a very good prod even back then, technically. Full of slow code and no very special effects...
...is right on the front page at www.apple.com.
So that's why Nokia has a few phones that are, well, just phones! Like this one, for instance, for less than $100!
Just because there are a lot of new phones with shitloads of features, doesn't mean that there aren't any new 'basic' phones left anymore.
I play Solitaire too!
(very handy for those long bus trips!)
So wait a sec.. you downloaded a pirated version of this software to reverse-engineer it?!
I am truly shocked!

Although it's distributed as .sit and the package is a .dmg, the loops are normal AIFF files. I did my remix with Ableton Live; Garageband is terrible :)
Pegasos PPC
Amiga One
to name a few...
There is a workaround - it involves removing a file and creating a directory with the same name. A little googling will help you...
Even the poster of the picture in the very same thread says the picture is a fake.
Well, one thing I can think of is that it shows the album artwork. Which, of course, is nice. Not that I'd buy one just because of that, though.
depressed :(
