mostly agree, but would it be in any way dishonest for them to take a significant government grant under the auspices of creating 300 jobs in the province (which they never did completely did) and then turn around and fire 100 existing employees just about 8 to 10 months later?
you have the 7 times the _plural form_ of window which is a generic term for a GUI element that is responsible for grouping related GUI elements together, you do not have 7 instances of Microsoft Windows.
In a likewise fashion, I own a line of adult massagers called Dildoes, and while you may have more than one dildo in your possession I would not attempt to sue you for having an excessively large (bordering on unnecessary even) variety of dildoes. Hell, in your exuberantly large collection of dildoes you may even have some Dildoes brand adult massagers, but that does not mean that all of your dildoes are in fact Dildoes dildoes.
Dildoes brand dildoes: now with 750% more torque than the leading brand! Ask about our new line of heated massagers!
Then why don't they offer the subjects of their animal jails to the livestock industry thusly (pardon the irony here) killing two birds with one stone? They would reduce the number of animals they kill while simultaneously reducing the number of livestock *the opponent* kills?
Also, since when is it more humane to incarcerate a living being for years before inevitably killing them than it is to simply kill them without the long drawn out torture?
yeah, I called it quits on firmware updates because of 3.21 locking out my ability to install linux distros.
I figured maybe if they gave me features instead of take them away in the future I'd update, but 3.41 seems to be total fail too. . .
The thing is though, we're becoming more and more a global tribe. By participating in Slashdot discussions it's almost like we've selected a greater non-local tribe to be a member of.
In a nationalistic sense it can no longer be an issue between local tribe and non-local tribe since we're now looking at a collection of local tribes whose decisions will affect the other tribes.
why is it me who has to pay for that? sure I'd consider paying a reasonable price for independant developer's products but, shouldn't the independant developers be buying the appropriate tools to bring their work to the platform if they deemed it a good idea?
but why would you license a FPS engine if you're not going to make an FPS?
If you license a shooter's engine and expect it to work for anything other than a shooter expect to have to do something yourself. It's a little far-fetched to demand that Epic make an RPG or a platformer for you because you licensed their engine to make a game mechanic that the engine wasn't originally designed for.
sorry I was wrong, on closer inspection I count 11 games that are either out now or out within 3 weeks, and you are wrong about Vegas. Bioshock Blacksite: Area 51 Fatal Inertia Hour of Victory Mass Effect Monster Madness Stranglehold Vegas Medal of Honor: Airborne Fury and Unreal Tournament 3
then there are also a few XBLA games that use UE3.
if there was a problem on epic's end wouldn't you think at least one other dev team would have taken issue?
what about the tens of other games that were done with UE3 and had no issues with it? Are SK saying that they were ostracized from all other developers using UE3? Epic doesn't like us, boo-hoo, etc?
wasn't the game they're working on supposed to come out 2 console generations ago?
score a history book from your local high school maybe? Though if page one starts, "In the beginning. .." and describes a day to day sequence of events, check to see if you're in the belt.
Overrated entry into the Diablosploitation genre that eventually killed real CRPGs. Popular, but again, a far cry from the best game ever made. lol @ Dark Alliance.

Lana: And what part of that are you still not getting, exactly? Archer: Obviously the core concept, Lana. Sorry I didn't go to space camp!

inb4 thousands of David D. Davidsons on the registration list.
. . . that's incredibly profound. Honestly, it never even occurred to me to think that way.
have you seen xbox live? that solution is a great way to guarantee 100% team kills only. That and hearing disparaging remarks aimed at your mother.
have you not seen a sci-fi movie in the past 50 years? Isn't this the plot to a good 70% of them?
Interesting.

the government has weapons? This is Canada, if enough of us had boards with nails in them we could overthrow.
when we have nowhere to run to our only hope now is revolution.
you mean BMI is in golf scores? O SHI- time for me to get on the treadmill!

flash?
I find playing hot coffee with your mother is quite invigorating.

I'm doing my part!

why would I buy a Nintendo branded flash card when I already have an N-card?
umm. . . did netcraft confirm it?

Didn't they already make a computer program that predicts the unpredictable? Isn't it called Puzzle Quest?
