No, these "theatrical widescreen" versions are the full screen versions (that have had the left and right chopped off when changing the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3) with the tops and bottoms cut off. So instead of getting more picture like normal, you're losing more picture than you would with the 4:3 version of the film.
You know, you/.ers would be all over this thing if the title of the article was "Linux Embedded R/C Transmitter". But you see Windows and you're all, "OH NOES, BSOD PLANE GONNA DIE!"
Windows CE is stripped down and optimized enough that it actually works. Get over the fact that you have a personal vendetta against Microsoft, and see the possibilities this product could offer. I bet you would all have fun with this either way.
Hey, with just 10 fingers, 10 toes, one mouth, and the various other muscles and such, I'm sure this large brain of mine could take advantage of a higher-bandwidth connection to the computer. I mean, let's see...I can type at 65wpm, assuming that each word has an average of five letters and a space...that means that I only have a 6.5 byte/sec connection to my computer via the keyboard. Yeah, I think I could take advantage of more bandwidth.
If you just look at the number of articles, you're right. According to Microsoft, Encarta 2005 has 68,000 articles. Compare that to the Wikipedia, which claims to have 415,957 pages that are "probably legitimate articles". Going by just the number of articles, the Wikipedia has more than 6 times as much information.

Yes, it was only supposed to run for 5 years. Except the original series only ran for 3 years. So, in essence, no.
Enterprise is the first series running the risk of being cut short Except...you know...the original series...

How many other technologies have transformed the world as rapidly as the Internet has?

You say Xerox Parc like it was an operating system or GUI. PARC stands for Palo Alto Research Center, the think tank where the GUI was invented.
Virtually nothing is better than actually nothing.
DDR is a great tool to help video game addicts lose weight and stay lean. I mean, look at the sexy bastard I am now, after a vigorous DDR workout?

"Is Sex with Geeks Doomed by Popularity?" Not until it's actually popular. :/
Uh...nobody and nothing can plead the 5th for you. The 5th amendment prevents anyone from having to testify against themselves.
Yes, but I think one will quickly dominate the other. Need I bring up Betamax?

I would say the 486DX was the start, not the Pentium 2. Maybe the original Pentium class.
