It is enough of an impact to get the attention of Congress. What the entertainment industry is failing to account for is the economic impact that their government given monopoly is making on the economy.
Doesn't really need to. About every other company is currently being informally investigated for back dated stock options. For the most part investors understand that these inquiries will only lead to previous years finacial data being changed and have little to do with the future outlook of a company.
Hold on to your doodle pads... take-two will be ok and they might be worth a lil more in the future
The clothbooks are horrible on CDs that are used often. However for some system restore cds you never touch it isn't a bad option. Just be aware of the scratching problem before use.
Huh and cable is regulated by the government... what makes you think that government regulation is going to save the Internet? I rather see the Internet unregulated and let the market settle everything out.
You'd have a hard time argueing Tiger is the best golfer in the world. He has no short game and hasn't been on top of his game for a while. Eminem is far from the best rapper in the world... bleh. Give me good ol' Too $hort and Easy E any day. French and Americans have always been arrogant and probably always will be. And Microsoft is just looking out for their best economic interest the easiest way they know how.
I hope that even the election offical access isn't enough to skew the results from any voting machine. If a political offical is able to just log in a make whatever changes they damn well please... I rather just keep my hanging chads thank you.
Remember IBM sold its consumer PC division to Lenovo, so this will only be on their high end workstations. Good for IBM for doing it, but not such a big deal.
If the cell processors is as bad ass as everyone makes it out to be Sony has nothing to worry about. All the PS3 has to be when it is launched is as good as the XBox360. Game developers need to be able to port games to either platform easily and if the PS3 has tools to make it easy to utilize just enough processing power to match the 360 then they will be sucessful. The cell processor will only really come into play after the developer tools mature and games are able to take full advantage of the cell processor.
University of Idaho modeled our V.Mobile (http://www.vmobile.uidaho.edu/) program after the UNC program. However, we do offer iBooks and Powerbooks... and hopefully soon MacBooks:D
The University of Idaho has spent a large amount of resources developing two similar programs that lease laptops to students. The first is a mandatory program through the College of Business and is called IXL (http://www.ixl.uidaho.edu/). All students entering their Junior year of study are required to lease a laptop from the college. The lease term is four semesters and the students have the option to buy the laptop at the end of the term for $1.
The second program is an extension of the IXL program. There was a demand to offer this program and other products to the general campus. V.Mobile (http://www.vmobile.uidaho.edu/ offers a very similar program to IXL, but is optional to the entire campus.
Our program is modeled after several other institutions across the country (Babson College and University of North Carolina). I would strongly suggest that you visit Babson or UNC and check out their program.
Actually, this should take the place of many techniques used to force diversity in the work place for government jobs. Instead of actively looking for candidates that will increase diversity percentages, HR departments will standardize the application process. These techniques have been proving to provide better candidates for positions and most companies with good HR departments utilize these techniques already. If you have not figured this out yet you may have already been missing the boat.
This works by creating good job descriptions and qualifications and matching those with candidates who have a proven they meet those requirements. This puts a large portion of the hiring process on HR instead of the department doing the hiring. For those of you wanting Federal contractor jobs this is a good thing!
The video is so porn.... almost scary how target this is towards sex hungry geeks. They even have a desktop background image that says "X-Rated for Explicit Technology".
You can move an application any where you want and it is likely it will not complain. Delete a user... no complaints. It asks you for a root password when you install software or make system changes and that is about it.
Or why not just let the cost of your service reflect that this does happen. That way you don't waste money developing software just to charge your customers more. I would argue while there is some demand for this type of service the majority of Google's customers are happy with how the system works now and are not willing to pay more for a service that their web reporting does already.
The Wallstree Journal has an article titled "Google Ignites Silicon Valley Hiring Frenzy". I suspect we can expect this to spread beyond Silicon Valley
There are cases when debt can be a tool to achieve wealth. Look at a mortage. Without it most Americans would be unable to afford housing. Rather then dumping money into rent they are paying a mortage. Of course a bank is going to charge them for this privilage, but in the long run the consumer is better off.
Insurance isn't bad thing either. If you have good credit and shop you can find insurance where you can take advantage of the numbers. Instead of locking $200,000 in a fund just in case your house burns down you can pay a small sum of money and invest the rest in a more lucrative/risky investment.
It is all about taking risks and deciding where to hedge your bets. Other people take different risks then you do, but that doesn't mean they are stupid.
If they sell it means their returns do not justify their investment. It happens. No one is going to buy SUSE unless they feel they can get some sort of return from purchasing it.

Not a whole lot has changed.

OpenVPN doesn't use kernel-mode drivers so this would not bother them one bit.

Western Digital marketing team hard at work.
So this is where WINE's incompatibility with software comes to it's advantage.
Ya I would love to see the people's computers who run this service!
I'm sure they have quiet the MP3 collection....
I suggest trying OS X.

Duct tape... lots and lots of duct tape. Wrap the outside with few good wraps and you should be solid.
Think about the mortar fireworks, all they use is a cardboard tube.

Not compleletly true.

It is licensed under the GPL.... so another project would just fork off of it and life would go on.
