Ya sure... I REALLY HATE the TV license fee the UK asks... thats why i got my laptop with internet and ESS, SWC or any other shoutcast thing...
This way I can have every show that I like
that is:
1. Pr0n
2. Pr0n
3. The Simpons
Well , I am a Mexican who recently moved to Liverpool UK. Now for my experience living here (about 6 months) I must tell I found the following:
1. Women are pretty, yep at least I can say that the "average" woman is prettier than in Mexico, I may generalize the UK woman as: "if its not fat, its good" but I am just talking about AVERAGES.
2. The food, well it really sucks from my point of view. The only thing I eat are Pizza (Italian?), Kebabs (India??), Hamburgers (USA?) Fries (???) and English Breakfast (now I eat this, and I think is the best thing they have as a dish...).
I have tried something called Bovril (and Marmite), and it tastes Terribly Bad in the bread... it tastes better as an infusion...
As for salaries, I have seen at least for computing seem to be fine (again, comparing from Mexico so... it may not be even).
3. The ppl here is of course colder than in Mexico, and I think that girls are kind of dumb (the average-standard). Someone told me that he bought (in UK) an Atlas of Europe in order to help him traveling when he was in vacation in UK, and, his surprise was that the atlas didn't included UK!!! (so as if UK was not part of Europe for English...)
why does google keep on moving that invite notice back and forth?
Well, that is the price to pay for a "beta" service/software. Maybe they are looking for the less obstrusive way of puting there, btw I also like it as it is now.
It is interesting to see things like this, as innovations.
I lived in Mexico where my father had a ranch, he used take us there every saturday to pay the pawns for the weekly job (harvesting, cleaning, etc) and he had a book where he annotated down the money he gave to the workers (like a spreadsheet). He used the fingerpirts of the workers (with ink) so that the people who didnt knew to write could sing.
Hello, I read some of the information about the link you posted and all that Linksys firmware thing. I think this question is aimed for TheIndividual, why bother fighting with this Sveasoft?
You know, that WRT54G firmware is Free Open Software, isn't it easier to get the last version and just create a fork, and improve it, at the end, people will have the option of "suscribing" to Sveasoft to download its "version" or just going to the page where the Open version is and download it.
From the link:...Some proprietary software, such as Microsoft Windows, is also provided in source code form although this is generally not the case for all commercial software companies.
Are you serious?? where is ALSO provided as sourcecode?
Looking trough the net I found this interesting proposed design for the PS3...
Will this be the PS3?
At least, it looks more cool that the tower design... what do you think??
Yeah, I know that, but, is it Illegal for me as a company to sell any software from say... Tokelau, in the internet, and then people could just buy them and download them.
How can the MPAA or RIAA or anyone else stop that? I think only making that software "Illegal" to buy in the US no?
So, after reading the article I came to think in something. This DMCA law, it is supposed to be for the US only isn't it? so, if I, make some software as the DVD-x-copy in another country, and distribute it, I am allowed to do that provided that the laws of my country allow it no?
Now, it would be then "Illegal" for the people who buys it inside united states, but I think nothing stops me for selling it from, say, somwhere in south america or europe...
Am I wrong?, maybe one of the "solutions" for all this would be simply to move the company to another place out of US.
Hehe, I think they will rather move to Linux $ince they dont buy a Win$ li$en$e do you think they will buy a Mac$into$h$$$$$$$$$$

Already slashdotted? anyone got a mirror of annodex.net??

Oh well, thanks, I noticed this 50 invites this morning, and *grin* posted a story (which of course was rejected) in slashdot.

Yes I know... sorry, I was just trying to be funny...
Funny ... companies have ... explicitly mention they're ... evil. Funnier ... Microsoft also ...: "We're ... saying there's ... virus or malware in our product". ... The ... license states ...
As you can see, you may say a lot of things also, and that does not imply they are true
Yeah... whatever

Have you noticed that the sponsored sites that the MSN search results shows come from Overture? isn't it a service from Yahoo?
judge by yourself...
Google
MSN Search
There is nothing more to say.

You are welcome.
Hi, well this is more like a question.
I have downloaded some cd's from this allofmp3 site. So it seems to be "barely legal". Now I am not in the US,
Does anyone knows the actual state of that site according to the US Law?? to the UK law? or to the Mexican (yes... its not a joke) law?
Anyway, I think this is the only post where I wont be "off topic"
lol Yeah, I also asked mysefl why in the world would they want to ban The Sims??
