Another proprietary soft from M$, if I recall, NASA is a gov. agency, then why chose a proprietary software when there is universal alternative? I guess MS Loby is quite strong in Washington!
Since it's so secure, I will stop buying Simantec products on al my 340 Windows equipped computers, such a great OS don't need Simantec solutions anymore.
I did it with a Linksys router I jus bought for that purpose, it work flawlessly, the interesting part of it is the huge config possibilities offered over the trad. factory default microprogram installed on it. That is not so new hack but it will make your admin life easier
Well, how often we can read that, but if the basement is cracking what will happen to the rest of the house? I would like to see what are the vulnerability stats for Firefox on Mac or Linux.... let's see the comparison, maybe that will help peoples decide with OS to choose in the future.
I've heard that they patented things they didn't invent, knowing that they will not be sued.
The best thing business or customer can do is to stay away from VISTA or this expensive XP Service Pack 3. Think different for once. Umbutu is great, OSX can run almost anything securely.
I think it slowly going on since we can publish video on the web, not long before we see more peoples watching their computer screen instead of television, witch is my case now.
It's the only way thy will understand Human right is not for sale.
Let's finance it now, this could be a great warning to the Microsoft and Googles of this world!
Hi, I use mac stuff since may 2005, I sold my boring/noisy/energy hungry/ugly... 2.4Gh P4 for a mac mini witch I sold last month for a core duo iMac. Sine then, I never had to defrag my disk or do anything else that Windows still needs not to sink. Since Windows can now run, with some work on your part, on a mac, why not then consider buying a mac instead of a regular Windows machine? After all, VISTA will probably not ship until 2007 or later. To this date, VISTA has been announced for 2003, 2005, 2006 and now 2007!!! ans OSX is there NOW
"Happy macking !"
Not dead yet but not verry popular in my business. We only use it for some MS update, we are curently replacing Office for OpenOffice.org, but wait... Google is preparing something too;-)
I'm a sys admin for a small network, since I got rid of IE in march 2004, nothing special has happened. Before, with IE everywhere, it was a nightmare for me to keep safe from hackers.
I think that there must be out there paid MS peoples who make a living bashing Firefox.
On one of the company pics, I saw one person siting on a garden plastic chair. Also, the facilities don't impress me much, 4 scientist in a small bathroom looking at some stuff. http://atomchip.com/db4/00366/atomchip.com/_uimage s/8GBAdapters.JPG These pics look funny to me, I could do the same hoax at home with some sort of glue and electronics component I have in here. The most funny part of it is the 2T memory allocation of Windows XP, and why XP OS by the way? Common Slashdot!!! you could do better!
First Impressions : The map itself is fine, zoom in, a little bit slow with Firefox, I guess the problem is not a problem on on IE;-)
Satellite : I did try to see, close-up view, like in Google map, of Montreal, CA, but I guess satellite pics were taken on a fogy day;-)

Yes excessive when a good technician can do the job for free if he's a good friend or for around 200$ for a good disinfection (Formatting it, if necessary, removing, from your eyes, the first door entrance of malware... "IE" and installing Firefox... A good anti virus + Spy bot.
Myself I thorough away a 2.4Ghz for a Mac mini, since then no virus, no spyware or anything else that I know of. Oh! I have an infected laptop that got infected when I had to use IE the last time, 2 Mont's ago. Right now, I'm thinking of reformatting it, but in my mind there is something terribly wrong wih IE and XP.
Last month, Tuccows put my domain ON HOLD for whatever reason. I sent then 2 e-mail, phoned at their office in Toronto twice without someone answering the phone! It took them 2 weeks before fixing it!!! A technical error that took 2 long weeks to repair. I just got the impression that they do not care about their customer problems. I never got a excuse.
No, if you want to reduce the deficit pull out of Irak, When Bush took over America was not in deficit.

With all the problems VISTA seems to have, and expensive upgrade needed, better buy a mac. VISTA seems to be as bad as Windows Millennium was.

The #1 SPAM trap is changing name, great! For the moment, I encourage U to take a look at GMAIl witch is now open to a broader audience.

Maybe it could help them understand that IE is not the only browser out there.

Don't lose time reading or answering this!
I would love to see that, why not? if Intel is not interested of course ? ;-)

Well, I think some stats analysis can discriminate geographically by country.
