$1000 for this desktop running the tried and tested operating system Linux, under an open source license. Or $1300 for the same computer running a flashy variant of the popular desktop operating system Windows which performs slightly to a good deal less efficiently, assuming semi-popular opinion doesn't lie, and under a license which limits the possibility of tweaking. Which will the client choose?
In Australia, they require '100 points of ID,' if you want to reset the password in person. (Commonwealth bank) It's far less difficult to do so over the phone, though. You just need to know the details of some past transactions, and have the bank account details.
Whether or not the creator interacts with his creation is irrelevant. The Creator and his interaction are covered by the third assumption.
You're viewing a theory from the outside, so it wont make sense. All theories are first based on the premise that they are correct. (All interpretation is influenced by one or another theory)
Ideally, science is (just) based on observation of the natural order of the universe.
On the other hand, I think it's silly to say that the universe is 6000 years old. We definitely don't know that.
No. Those three fundamental assumptions do not exclude the possibility of an intelligent creator. In my opinion, it seems to be implied.
You cannot say science cannot be practiced under the theory that the universe was created (by a creator)- it's a plausible theory, much like many of the others. Mockery doesn't contribute to your argument.
I think you'll find that in real life, almost anyone who does anything interesting dies pretty quickly. The ones who don't are very few. More characters should be killed off in general within fiction. Especially the main ones. No more immortal protagonists.
This is great. Now where's my press card?
Aptitude is open-source. You wouldn't need to do much coding.

I can't tell if you're serious (and completely ignorant) or trying to make a joke...
Yeah yeah, I know grandparent is an Aussie...
No, I think it's fair. :)
We also wince when your country is mentioned.
(Though not so much as we do 'their' country, ugh.)
Right. Which part of your gripe actually relates to gnome?
You don't have to use nautilus..
(I for one, use XFCE4)
I wish my ADSL was 512Mbit/s. I'm stuck with a measly 1.5Mbit/s.

It's not, unless you watch Today Tonight.
Nope. I don't think you typed enough of that.
You mean... 1129635401 seconds ago?
Hmm. Why do you need a shortcut URL? Trouble concentrating?
Let me see.
You're cross at something yet to happen? How does that work?
3rd March, 1327.
Dear Diary.
I saw a man who was unusually tall today.
If that's a joke, it was very poorly implemented.

(Slightly off topic, indeed.)
You're bragging about donating $10?
That doesn't seem right, somehow...
Who are you kidding?
I don't know, but good luck getting anyone to read that mess.
Get an education, you illiterate clod.

I think your grammar was wrong on the second sentence there, somehow.
Perhaps you could try:
Fruit flies would like a banana.
Or:
Fruit flies like bananas.
Yeah, but what does that have to do with the article?
