    AJAX applications and ASP.NET are highly prone to failure.

    Can't say much about ajax, but care to support your second statement? Who coded them? Were they coded by a real developer, or by somebody who doesn't know how to use the language?

    Any language is prone to failure if the programmer doesn't know how to code properly.

    This is the tech industry. Things tend to change. Perhaps there are new programs/vendors out?

    I personally have used quicktaxweb.ca (canadian) for the last few years, but this year i bought the desktop app because my household plans to file more than 1 over the free filing limit.

    My solution is simple. I host all of my Linux distribution under code names that just happen to correspond to some movie names. Its not my fault if I 'accidentally' download the wrong humorously named Linux distribution.

    The trick to the whole heaven & hell thing is acquiring people's souls. Go to a bar and you could probably convince somebody to see you one for a beer. I always state that my terms for a small loan of whatever is their eternal soul as collateral.

    Basically, if it turns out religion is right, you now have some negotiable material to barter with should you wind up going the wrong direction. If religion turns out to be wrong and you just fade to dust, then you aren't in a position to worry about it anymore either.
