    It adds numeric values to your password and it changes each time.

    Sure it can -- log into google maps, and use the elevation maps feature.

    Ok, now do that in the middle of nowhere without cell coverage.

    Can you pre-cache maps with the iphone? (I don't have one so I don't know).

    When I buy something from the US, I usually get hit with duty charges, which is labeled as GST/PST in addition to whatever brokerage costs.

    I don't know if the US does the same thing. It becomes customs' job to collect tax in these instances.
