Generally, I have more important things to care about than if I have to wait an extra minute and a half because 3 people just got in front of me.
If I'm in line, then I just expect to wait and wait it out. -5 or +5 minutes in a 60 minute wait doesn't make a difference to me... I would rather stand there and zone out into Willy Wonka land and be happy.
Now in a situation where I'm not expecting to wait, it is much more frustrating. For example if I step up to order a hamburger, and the cashier decides to step out to smoke first... Then I'm irate.
Two-Face: [finishing his "almost got him" Batman story]... And if it weren't for this blasted coin... I would have got him. The Joker: Gee, that's too bad, Harv, but I guess you'll always come in second. Anybody else want to go? Killer Croc: [hits the table] ME! There I was, holed up in this quarry, when Batman came nosing around. He was getting closer... Closer... Poison Ivy: And...? Killer Croc: I threw a rock at him! [everyone stares in dead silence] Poison Ivy: So, Harvey, when became of the giant penny? Killer Croc: It was a big rock... Two-Face: They actually let him keep it!
When a class action lawsuit is available, and they send out fliers to everyone who has owned the game (in this example) who actually pays for the printing, paper, research for the fliers?
The thought here is would Take-Two counter sue for damages of a frivolous lawsuit.
I think it's more of how you voice your opinion. I can't really explain it without giving examples.
Saying something like "Obama is terrible for this country and should not be running for president. He doesn't have any good policies and he sucks." is bad.
If you post with elegance then usually you are received a lot more intelligently.
"Barack Obama has been working hard on his campaign but I just simply can't find a lot of things I agree with. It's strange but a lot of his plans and policies seem to not be backed by previous experiences or history. I will be paying attention to his campaign as I long to see him reach some qualified examples but until then I will probably be more on the McCain side. Good luck to both"
Thus I'm basically saying I don't like anything about him but changed up my tone and made it a smooth read instead of brash with lots of absolutes.
Maybe photo companies could start implement a digital signature like process into their photos.
The idea is that each pixel would be assigned its own identifier. Kind of like HTML format like #342332. You then take the sum of the identifiers (or something like that) and use the camera's encryption key and sign the document. When you want to verify the pictures authenticity you use the image verification feature on the camera which would match the picture's identifier and match it against the camera key to make sure it still hasn't been altered.
This is only an IDEA and my explanation on how it MIGHT work is just an idea. I also know it might not be perfect as someone could steal the encryption key. But at least it would deter 95% of people out there altering pictures that aren't that computer savvy.
Obama is going to be removing the tax cuts that the rich (250,000+ salaries) are subject to. They say over a 10 year period that will earn about 1.2 trillion dollars.
His healthcare plan is about 50 billion a year so taxing the upper classes will cover some of the plans he has voiced.
The people who aren't going to vote for Obama because his middle name is Hussein are the same people who would look for any excuse to not vote for him without crossing the line.
If it isn't the name, it will be the way he speaks. If it's not that it will be because of the arguments he had with Clinton. And so on.

It's amazing that people can whine about anything. Great post.
See now if I were to ping my house I would say do this.
Get a nerf gun that shoots tennis balls. Stand about 5 feet away from a wall then shoot the tennis ball. If the ball bounces off the wall and hits you in the face then you know your house is still there!
You know, I think this is VERY good post and would like to recommend that it get modded up.
If students are to be detained because they were seemingly carrying weapons, then they need to be punished for the crime. If you were carrying around a fake but very real looking hand grenade threatening people with it, then you need to be punished according to the law you broke.
If you are carrying around a freaking NERF gun and your violation doesn't relate to the charges of the crime you are being suspected of, then they shouldn't be able to just stamp something on it (disorderly conduct) and send you off. They obviously didn't break the real law so they didn't do anything wrong!!
From the article: "It picks up electrical activity from the brain and sends wireless signals to a computer," said Tan Le, president of US/Australian firm Emotiv."
So instead of trying to pick up cordless phone signals and listening to conversations, they can instead sniff into the wireless signal and pick up thoughts!
I just can't wait to see the blog articles from this!:)
The new Xbox One Eighty?
They should have announced some terminations to along with this news... That may have helped their story a little more.
This article didn't say "Games that have DRM and failure mechanics".
Can we please get through a gaming article without mention of DRM.
Someone posted this comment on Slashdot . I believe this to be pretty true.
If Obama screws up, blame will be put on Bush still because "his policies are still lingering".
If Obama succeeds, it will be because he brought change like he said he would.
Yes, I'm an unbiased Obama supporter.

Just as a FYI; most robberies happen in the day time while you are at work.

A pirate walks into a bar wearing a paper towel on his head. He sits down at the bar and orders some dirty rum.
The bartender asks, "Why are you wearing a paper towel?"
"Arrrrrrr I've got a bounty on me head!"

The article doesn't lie!
The Duke Nukem episodes ARE going to go on forever.
The retail stores I've gone to will do exchanges if your game simply doesn't work. They just won't do refunds.
Wow. These are some great thought out and factual posts n0-0p. Especially with posting a line like this
"You wouldn't necessarily agree with him, but at least you'd see that he has entirely valid reasons for his position."
Very nice stance on the subject. Wish you would have gotten modded up.

Although I don't care about these contests, I wonder why the PC wasn't added.
Is it because it's not popular anymore?
Or is it because a 3000 dollar addition is a little too much?

Haha at that point "What?" would have an entire new meaning of annoyance.
