Actually, a local hospital has a private WiFi network seemingly going throughout the hospital. (Well, my DS detected several APs when I went to visit a recovering relative.) They apparently have computers on carts. I also saw a sign advertising free WiFi in a lobby in another hospital.
Wait, seriously? I thought the whole point of a backup was to have a copy in case the original breaks or is stolen. I'm sure that wouldn't stand up in court if challenged.
Still seems out of place to me. This should be on some WoW fansite, not Slashdot. Besides, this "story" seems more about bitching at Blizzard than informing people of the maintenance. Anyway, it is "sectional content", so no big deal.
Is that linked to anywhere from the PayPal site? I know I've used it before, a while ago. The question is: Is PayPal calling this a new service, or did the submitter find an old pop-up and mistake it for new?
Actually, using Ctrl+C and pasting it into an OpenOffice spreadsheet yields the same results as using the AJAX copy button in IE7 and allowing clipboard access. Both lose the formatting, but copy the data into the correct cells.
How about an installer flag, then? I've seen some software do that. It would be harder than just clicking an OK button, so it would presumably keep some users away. Although someone could post step-by-step instructions.
I agree. And then the store wants you to buy their $30 USB cable to get it working. I think printer may be the only USB device not to include a cable, or at least one of the only devices.
I wouldn't say all console launch lineups are terrible. At least, some of the best games have been launch games: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, Mario 64, Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur, Halo, and Zelda:TP. Although Soul Calibur and Zelda:TP are ports.
It seems like they have it sort of working. When will they release it? And does this mean we won't be able to use USB keyboards and mice with the browser?
I don't know if I'd say the pricing is fair. Plus, you'll never be able to buy every NES/SNES/N64 game. What if I want to play Perfect Dark on the Wii? Anyway, I doubt you'll be able to do it without a custom firmware of some sort. Perhaps a modchip?
You don't compare one company to itself to see if it's stingy. You compare it to another company/MMORPG. As I don't play them anymore, I don't know if it's stingy or not. Personally, 20 days sounds pretty good to me.
That's too bad, it seems Nintendo is catering to kids (well, more accurately their parents) on that. Voice chatting with random people you play against online is pretty fun. And I suppose it helps in team games.
From what I gathered from the Wiki before it went down, they don't even have a Wii, yet alone a way to break the protection. Meanwhile, the PS3 will have a Linux distribution apparently ready to run at launch.
In case you haven't noticed, Google Video uses the Flash video format as well. Hasn't it been lie that from the start? Later, they added a way to download the original file, a nice option that YouTube lacks.

This should work. Just use a player that's capable of playing FLV.

Michigan has had pretty much no snow for a while now. Although, Hell might have frozen over a month or so ago.

Still, IE7's way does seem better in this case.

ME is horrible, you should upgrade to Windows 2000, Linux, or BSD right away. Or at least use Firefox/Thunderbird instead of IE/OE.
It depends on what you mean by "casual gamers." PCs are great for solitaire/bejeweled/euchre/etc.
Good thing I connect via WiFi.

You're complaining about nunchuks? I am still unable to buy a Wii itself.

Wouldn't people who were looking for PS3s buy Xbox 360s rather than Wiis?
Who's named as the defendant? "MySpace", Intermix, or News Corp?

I believe they banned based on some "Hard Drive Key" on the original Xbox. It's quite possible that the Xbox 360 has something similar.
Well, Microsoft shouldn't have autorun enabled by default. But it is still is the fault of Apple, or the company they contracted the job to.
I wonder if Kim Jong Il has ever watched that movie.
