The T-Mobile towers around here don't set the time for some reason. And some other tower(s) I used had the clock set an hour wrong, so I disabled automatic time updating.
Well, technically a majority of Americans didn't vote for Bush. According to this, only 60.3% of the people who could vote did vote. But a majority of Americans that voted did vote for Bush. Although just by 0.73%.
S stand for small. Because it's smaller the the original "duke". The original is quite like the Sega Dreamcast controller, yes. Somebody posted a cool controller evolution chart a while back, which has what every controller was based on.
There's really nothing about me when searching using my real name. I do see two search results about a guy who has the same name as me. He lives really close to me too.
Look at all the good games coming at or shortly after launch: Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo: Elements of Power, Project Gotham Racing 3, Ghost Recon 3, Full Auto, etc. I haven't heard too much about Full Auto, hopefully it will still be released this year.
The eye-toy isn't really innovative. That is, the idea of controlling stuff on screen using video of yourself is innovative, but Sony didn't think of it. I believe that was Intel. Intel Play Me2Cam was released in 1999, and sounds like it does the same sort of stuff as the eye toy.

That feature is really nice. So far, looks like one of the few things it really has over google. Yahoo displays the summaries also, but it doesn't let you drag stuff around. I also like the rss search, viewing, and adding from the same page. I don't like how it only displays 5 headlines at a time though.
You'd have to blame that on the rss feed makers for not including longer summaries in the xml. If you view the slashdot feed (which was updated too long ago, the newest story is "UK Companies Love IT Workers, Love Not Returned"), you'll notice it shows all that's shown on the front page.
From what I've heard, Jack Thompson is very childish. He thinks people who play games are retarded drooling monkeys. He compared one person to Saddam Hussein just because he played games. All of his posts would be -1 if he posted here,;). And, of course, I'd wager he cares nothing about the children. He just cares about the money. Maybe he decided he wasn't getting enough from the medical malpractice suits, and decided the game companies were a good rich new target.
I hear GP32 has very good SNES emulation. Would you be able to use that on this new device? Hopefully people would make new stuff either way.

Does lodgenet still do games? I know there have been SNES and N64 units, don't know about anything newer. And didn't they have multiplayer between rooms or something? How did that all work? Of course, the games were insanely expensive, like $4 a hour or something.
Apparently, Panera doesn't shut down their hotspots after they close. I don't know this first hand, but a friend IM'd me while he was connected to the internet in a Panera parkinglot at 11:30 PM. Of course, the fact that he was doing that is probably more strange then them not shutting down the hotspot.
"Can't beat 'em? Consume them."
Except Windows can and is beating Linux. I don't see how MS switching to a linux kernel is any more than a Linux fanatic's fantasy. If they switched to a Linux kernel, they'd loose the advantage of having a bunch of programs that only run nateively on Windows, and I don't think they'll want to do that.
Or you could just blast a hole in the wall or something. Of course, I'm pretty sure it would be a bad idea to bring the sun indoors. Even if you could fit it, you'd incinerate everything around you. Plus other nasty side effect.

I'm sure this will inconvenience/hurt(?) more people than Y2K, right? Congress, you just created a "disaster" worse than Y2K, what are you going to do next?
Actually, that is different from what the article is talking about. Sure, they both use buffer overflow, but the hacked saves are files, and exploit buffer overflows in file loading. The article is talking about just plugging in a usb device and executing code. That hasn't been done on the xbox.

You might not be able to connect your dance pad. As MS doesn't seem to want to support xbox 1 controllers on xbox 360.

This was also posted on Engadger. You can read some of the comments on there. You could just kick people who aren't buying anything out of the store.

They'll just revoke it's key and make it illegal to sell. If they were willing to output HD over component, they would've done it in the first place.

Hm..everyone keeps raving about this game. Too bad I'll probably never play it. Well, maybe the DS version.
Funny, I don't need to run an anti virus on my xbox. What would be the point in a PSP virus anyway?
