First, Creed is pretty good.
Second, a band called FLESH EATING FOUNDATION did a metal cover called "Baby One More Time 2002" Got it back when mp3.com still existed. Sad thing was that it was probably their best song on there.
I'm pretty sure that just means if a mistake is made filling out the warrant, police can still use it. Like, if the judge approves it but accidentally writes the wrong address, the police can still use it to search the address they requested the warrant for.
This is just what I remember from Law & Justice class last year though, so I could be wrong.
Again, correlation does not imply causation. They can't isolate album sales by people who download the music from people who don't. Also, people are more likely to answer in a survey that they download music if they buy the music afterwards.
We have at least three ad-free Christian music stations here. Two run by a local university, not sure about the other. Although, I don't really like the music. They all play "worship music" (Third Day, etc) too much. I want some hard rock/metal.
I've seen this done a year ago or so on normal google web results. Except, they didn't try to hide it. The URL would link to google, but redirect the the page you were visiting. Perhaps you didn't see it, because Google only gives these "tests" to certain groups. Keep in mind, this was before gmail. Now, it probably was used to refine page ranks. But still, Google was tracking which sites you went to.
You can send mp3s from your nokia? Or just too it? I know mine won't even let me send midis I downloaded from the internet. Whenever you try to send any midi at all, it says "This file is copyright protected" and won't let me send it.
For windows, WM Recorder is the best I've used. It monitors using wincap I believe, grabs the url that WMP is streaming, and connects itself and saves it. Thus you can close the media player while it downloads.
Windows guy? Apparently, you haven't watched the old Screen Savers. He heavily promoted BeOS and Linux. I was younger at the time, so I don't remember if he promoted both at once or what. I just remember a computer with a huge monitor running BeOS and penguins everyone in various episodes of the Screen Savers. Mind you, this was TSS with Kate & Leo on ZDTV. ZDTV was bought out by someone close to or part of Microsoft or something, so the show started to focus on windows.
A while ago, Slashdot was using captchas so messy that I didn't even know what they said. I'd pretty much always get the "try your reply again" thing, until I sent an email and stopped having to do the captcha. Now, I see they're easier. But still annoying. On yahoo, I fail, oh, lets say, 1 out of 8 times to correctly imput the word. Now, I do have bad vision, but I'm not blind.
Hopefully your friends have SP2 at least. They wouldn't be infected anyway if they already had it, but whatever. Go to manage addons in the tools menu in IE, and disable legitcheck. Voila, you can use windows update.
Quite a few of the earlier xbox consoles used Thompson DVD drives. These are horrible. They can't read CD-Rs at all, and they can't even read many cdrws. Plus they get disk read errors a lot. When playing Halo 2, mine freezes for second at a time when choosing a profile, changing game options, and other times in the menu. Of course, I've had my GCN dvd drive stop working too. Pretty much all consoles have had problems reading game media.
Wonder how soon we'll see a real life version of Doctor Connors AKA The Lizard. He's a lizard of course, but that's close enough to a crocodile. Hopefully we won't become evil when fused with crocodile DNA.
Looks to be only the D variant that does it. Plus it opens a backdoor. And it also deletes quicktime for one. Don't know the motivation behind it, maybe they want to feel they're doing good by deleting other malware?
Accessing comedy central through xbmc is nothing worse than blocking the ads on comedycentral.com when you watch the videos from there. But you're right that XBMC and Tivo are different things. But can you watch Launch videos, watch ifilm, stupid videos, and atom from your tivo? I thought not.
Would it work with all jerks on online games? You know, the ones that throw in a cuss word every other word they speak? The ones who apparently get their kicks calling people n00bs?
There are also games included with purchases. Anyone ever play Chex Quest? It was actually pretty fun. I know Red Baron pizza included a flying combat game in their pizzas a while back (maybe they still do?). Also, I believe some other cereal included "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?", only with a bunch of ads in the loader.
But there will probably be less products to choose from. What if I want to buy a dance pad or a steering wheel/pedals for the 360? Microsoft doesn't make either of those things.

They have that in the US for debit cards.

The article only mentions digital, and lenses used by digital cameras and such. What about regular, film cameras? Does it not detect them?

It issues patched to the nightlies, I don't see why it can't issue patches to the beta.
You know, why don't they fix it with the "check for updates" thing?
They could do like Tokelau and just give them away to anyone. Although, I doubt they'd do that.

XBMC can definentally access samba/windows file shares. That's how I access most of my stuff.
See: Firefox.

I didn't either. A and B I saw. Is C the same picture? Also, A and B didn't cause a half second of blindness to images afterward.
