Yeah, it's just adding extra bureaucracy, rather than looking at the real problems.
I still can't work out why nobody at MS doesnt look at their nearest (and very much growing) competitors: Apple, Google and Linux aren't innovative because they hire more managers, they're innovative because they let the designers design, the coders code and the corporate bullshitters sit at home unemployed.
No, they failed. They went from "Nintendo number 1 in the games market", to "Nintendo, beaten by a newcomer to the games market twice in a row"
Considering their marketshare has halved every single generation, I would suggest all the profit in the world couldn't help them now, unless they start puting out games people want to play and marketing. Look at the top 5 games of last year? How many of them are playable on the GameCube?
The only things they have left are the Game Boy and their ever decreasing fanbase.
Yeah, Nintendo pads are inventive, but actually really uncomfortable (I do have big hands though, so go figure). Their worst has to be the GCN pad, thanks to that tiny and useless Dpad, and the wierd shaped buttons.
My favourite controller ever is probably the Xbox Controller S, or the Dreamcast controller, though the S needs the start/black and white buttons moving, and the DC needs more buttons. The 360 controller looks ideal to me.
I wish I lived in your crazy dream world where Nintendo had any relevance. I really do.
The Revolution could come with a free handjob and a sandwich and the mainstream media wouldn't notice.
Actually, I reckon that this would work with regular plastic lenses. I hope so, walking in to aroom from outdoors makes me essentially blind for 30 seconds.
Actually that was Tycho. Gabe doesn't talk so much.
Anyways, regardless of the US pricing (I don't live there), the UK pricing is shockingly cheap. £210 for the Core System, and the proper bells-and-whistles one for £280. Just to compare, the basic Xbox package was £300 without anything bundled, same with the PS2 (the GCN was £150, IIRC - not that it helped sales at all)
I predict very good sales for this - at least as far as the UK is concerned.
...who got hired for a Net Yaroze game. I used to love those*, but I never knew anybody got hired for one.
*When they were on the cover of OPM. In partic. the Boulderdash clone was pretty fantastic.
From Spaced:
Tim: "Bitter?"
Mike: "No. Are you?"
Tim: "No, I meant do you want a drink?"

Shouldn't that be £9.90? Seeing as 9.99 isn't a multiple of .99

Cuntflaps, for the very slow. R* show us again where their true talent lies!

Both the X360 and the N5 (or whatever) use regular 2.4ghz RF, not BlueTooth.

Firefox does a "I'm feeling lucky" search when it doesn't have a proper URL to go to. Very handy, and I wish other browsers would do it too.
I _am_ shocked!
Has their games division ever done a bit of hardware not broken out of the box?
....that prefers the WW style? The new one just looks shitty, and like every other game out there. Wind Waker was unique.
I don't suppose it matters (in terms of sales), Nintendo only sells to their fans these days anyway.
...No, I mean what does "exacerbate" mean?

I've always though Jeff Minters games looked gorgeous. Though not in a traditional sense, of course.
For some of us that is porn.

*coughs* Cyclops' "Eye Beams" are purely concussive in nature. Not heat at all.
Halo 1 was only released on PC and Mac because Bungie promised them it before the MS buyout. Halo 2 is never coming to PC or Mac.

"How much?", "Where?", and "When can you deliver?" I haven't even seen the site and I want one. Especially if I can plug an Xbox into it.
JAWS isn't really based on IE. In fact, it works satisfactorily with every browser we tested it with (IE, FF, Opera, Mozilla). Just a heads up.
... will there mail service still suck? Ive had to respond to more than a few cries for help from people that use Yahoo. Its a mess.
