i believe the "editor" is reffering to the fact that they are offering shows too bad for TV at the moment. Hence, there has been deemed little demand for these shows, and now you can get t hem on the web.

without your knowledge. You could be a walking Tag with the details of your entire day, just picked up from the different door handles(as show on the site).
walking home you touch the subway and BAM the information is sent to the secret government labs
I definitely heard about this a long time ago, i think the same guy is working on a 9X9 version working up to the 13X13 and eventually to the 19x19? version.
its a goodo accomplishment, but only if they could crack ARIMAI (spelling mistake.) it is much harder to beat, even on the most difficult setting i can still beat the computer easily with funky tactics.
you will notice a significant difference in the noise. Because of the inverse square root relationship between intensity and distance, the smaller noises just dissapear.
Even dampening a couple dB causes significant improvement, or try moving the actual tower further away from you(cheapest solution)
We can safely assume that this is a scaremongering tactic by the right-esque media, to conform with the standards beset upon us by the Lord in His infinite mercy in Heaven.
It's bad because they, under the guise of anti-piracy, (which some may compare to anti-terrorism initiatives) blocked WINE, and made it seem as though it was a pirated product.
To my knowledge WINE is an emulator for windows, so that windows programs may be run without purchasing windows. It is NOT some sort of cracked version of windows. We all know Microsoft hates losing the bling bling, but few linux users are likely to front said bling on top of the cost for the windows program. It comes out to probably 100-2000$ depending on the program, and the cost of Windows Xp Home(which i use because it only costs 100 bucks for easy typing).
That said, WINE shouldn't be reliant on Microsoft for updates. The WINE community should fix it(if it is a bug), no handout thank-you. And Microsoft is not responsible for WINE, they should just plainly state "WINE is not a supported Microsoft product and therefore does not get updates"
Putting this under some cover is bad, and shows microsofts(already known) business tendancies, to be sneaky and mean.
Just from the preview I "think" (*wince*) its going to suck.
listen to the words... and the tone of the announcer....
not a good sign, they are sensationalizing it. Most people want to see this because they know the book, most people dont want to see this because it is a movie(im sure there are some, but that is few)...
Also, mos def wasnt british sounding enough, I expect a british author to have very british sounding people in the movie. (esp. Arthur and Trillian)
At Guelph University, we have had biological engineering for quite some time.
It is focuses on two streams, bioreactions, and biomedical.
The Bio-reactions would deal with:
membranes bio reactors(beer creation!) remediation techniques (this is a mix with enviro eng) food creation / processing
Bio Medical: Custom Prosethetics Imaging technologies Different therapies (gene, radiation, chemical, natural) Cyborg creation 101 Android Manipulation (must be taken with AI*4503)
ect.
Guelph is largly a non traditional Engineering school, there is no Civil/mechanical/other standard engineering programs, very cool.
Idiot, there are people who dont worry about taking those tests because they are bunk.
It is called relaxing. Learn to live with it.
I wrote my *AT tests and scored above the 96% percentile on average. (ie top 4% of those who had written the test on that day)
my plan was to not study, (i was told studying doesnt help) i just looked at the general format of a math question, a this queation and a that question so i wouldnt be all freaked out because i couldnt understand syntax. (imagine being told a program was written in C, and you knew C, and then they give you perl and still say that is is C, one word, FUCKED)
I just walked into the test, wrote it, went home, and went for a run. Not that big of a day.
What about stories of people who used linux live cd's to bravely save the day and backup the data stored on the nasty NTFS file folder!?
I am planning on starting this kind of service when I get home from university, i plan on charging about 50 bucks to do spyware removal. (i suspect about 1 hour of work is all that is needed.)
1 hour minimum with and additional "back up crucial data service" for an additional 15$. (just carry a portable HDD with you using usb 2.0 or firewire or whatever.
'scuse me. But getting signals from a silicone chip, implanted on the eye, and not part of a persons natural makeup qualifies as Foreign object to me.
Just like how contact lenses are foreign, braces.
It would be my opinion that any sufficiently advanced brain can automatically organize structured data(from external vectors)in an efficient way, therefore think about this....
Say you want to know the weather at a whole bunch of different locations on the globe, and people are uploading the numerical data for these sites. You plug in your brainstem into this data, d/l, and lo and behold, your brain can interpret this data to form an idea about how the world is without experiencing part of it.
The same works with weather reports, but here im talking direct brain to brain connections.
It's a friday!
**Head explodes in the irony of how ST:E went down, and has it's last two epidsodes scheduled for fri 13th**
I nominate this story for rocking so hardcore.
Any seconds?
they said they could only confirm a temperature of 280f because it is the ignition point of paper.
they did not have anything else to test ignition point with. they esitmated their output at 1.5 Kwatts..(about the same as a stove)
with unreliable connections at times to the 911 calling line, it was obvious that at one point Vonage would be getting sued.
I cannot tell what is what for this case, it must be allowed to mature and all the details let out.
They can't, however, justify letting a store operator, like Apple, sell music with no rights management protections whatsoever.
->they could if they realized that since the beginning of time there have been peoplel with the skills to replicate another humans potential.
Axiom #1, something created by a human mind can be replicated/learned/reverse engineered/hacked/cracked by another human.
if the music is going to be low quality jingles i believe we can all deal with this....
carry EMP devices into stores which use RFID and let loose

ill take a look too see how it stacks up.
ill run some tests of my own and send the posting back to slashdot

All you americans would be good to move here, or get servers here and prosicute in Ontario.

Please explain how NOx gasses are produced...
It was my understanding that a PROTON membrane allows only H+ ions through to react with ONLY oxygen....
Your argument is based on hightemperature hydrocarbon and oxygen reaction in which some nitrogen in the air is fixed into oxygen.
The reactions here occur at reasonably high temperatures, but ONLY oxygen and hydrogen react.
this creates h20.
Learn before posting, and dont spread disinformation.
if your statements were true, then the human body would create NOx from its combustion reactions.
