"Leap Ahead"? We used to call it "Tactical Retreat" when we got our ass shot off or "Side Maneuverer" if we had no idea where we're going. But I'll like the ring of it, next time I have to do a "Tactical Retreat" and "Side Maneuverer" at the same time I'll just say that I'm going to "Leap Ahead".
Dell, NEC, Fujitsu Siemens, HP or IBM, buy more then 10 at once and they even do a dance for you accompied by that blank HD, although the rabat is probably not more than 35 EUR.
Well, it might be different from where you live, but I usually need to authenticate myself before I can use a service like IP connectivity and most often I authenticate with someting that proves my personal identity. The mapping is quite easy then.
Don't worry about option 1, people that appreciate shit shows have no need for on-demand, their problem is that they don't know what to want and therefore appreciate predigested shit:-). But what you do have to worry about is that because of this reason on-demand TV may not be financial interesting to the big commercial companies which likely want to prevent on-demand to brake through because they lose market share to the smaller companies for which on-demand TV is financial interesting. But once bandwith is plenty for anyone, this problem solves itself.
That 12% is before negotiating, if you talk to the sales I'm sure you can get a bit more, but that depends on there stocking and current prices on HD's and RAM, bottom line, always talk to the sales! It's not unusual to get a quarter or more off their advertised prices.
good admins rule #284 Must reguluar use OS that most of the clients use. Sharing the frustation makes understanding easier, which helps solving the problem faster.
Tell me, how did Irak get their weapons in the first place and why was Sadam at that position anyway? Hitler wouldn't have happend if WW I was settled in a human way for Germany, since all Europe was in ashes, any help to rebuild it would have saved alot of lives, but that wouldn't be profitable for the US economy, especially for their weapons industrie. I'm greatfull though that US was in the alliances, they just as easily could have done nothing about the mess they helped create, but then again, they would be the first country to get the German A-bom and would have nothing to retaliate. However Bush administration did a nice job, instead of scatterd terrorist throughout there is nouw a breedingground for them and a place to unite.
My guess, whatever was the cheapest at the time and scaled in cost about the same, that is you can start with 1 PC and scale it up to say 50, after that terminals begin to become competitive, but then it is already to late, to much workstations in house already to switch to another setup (in most common situation, that is not an IT environment.
According to MS and SUN, they are friends now. According to others, SUN doesn't take the extra effort to make there x64 hardware Windows imcompatible and MS won't do the extra effort to brake their OS more on SUN h/w then on the others. That said, of course they would do anything in there power to at least equalize the software market a bit. It's easier to be competitive if the market is open.
Given that they still are obsessed by medieval property logic, about 600 years I guess
Wait, now your router is also a gateway? How mind boggling ...
So if one invates Kuwait/Irak/Iran/Whatever and takes oil from them this is wrong because mother nature owns the oil?

Aah well which country doesn't have one
Well the choice would be not my eyes or teeth, but thats a more practical decision rather then judging which would be the smallest grief.

I don't know about you, but if I relate to "highly sensitive sensory organs" I don't think about my teeth, oooh the pain ... must not think about it.
Aaah you have been blessed by using a reasonable stable virus scanner.
