So, when is someone going to confiscate the Internet? Or rather the infrastructure of the Internet, I'm pretty sure every router has seen at least one packet of copyright infringement.
This seems rather odd to me since I've recently seen a study from the UK, and one from Canada correlating an increased risk of cancer with increased weight.
Holy Fanboy, take off your tinfoil cap! The parent never compared the PS3 to the 360, they merely explained that software emulation is worse than hardware emulation.
Unfortunately the members of a fringe party (Reform) flooded a "similar" (Progressive Conservatives) party and forced a merger, a lot of (religious) nutjobs.
People still download camcorder movies? I don't download movies, but I was under the impression most of the current flicks were leaked at various points between the publisher and the cinema.
I believe the issue is that all too often the companies aren't actually required to rectify the problem (ie, replacing the CD) and the victim ends up with a $2 off coupon for purchasing yet another product from the company.
Seems a rather odd tactic, can they really persue legal action because they 'think' you 'might' not be following their licensing? Do companies really have any obligation to allow MS to examine their hardware.
Now what we need to do is take your cheap game rig (which looks like it will be around $1500 complete) hook it up to an HD TV and then in 5 years compare to quality of games that will run on it vs. the games that will run on the PS3. In 5 years modern games won't even run on the machine you are talking about building, yet PS3 games always will. Games will become more and more optimized for the PS3 hardware where as in the general purpose computer realm developers will expect more powerful machines to be purchased so no need to optimize.
While the graphical quality of console games does improve over their lifespan, in the past they have generally not keep pace with PC games.
I'm not familiar with Spring or Hibernate, but AFAIK Eclipse was written originally written by a team at IBM.

I haven't been able to find the link for the study in Canada, but here is the British: http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2007/11/07/uk-cancerstudy.html
Couldn't it also easily be solved by store employees doing at least a minimal inspection upon item returns.
If they sell the product in the EU, then the laws do apply to them (or their publisher).
The parent was saying that someone is more likely to complain when the photo features them doing something embarrassing.
It doesn't matter, I just can't take them seriously anymore. I mean feathers, come on!
Its probably safer to not be found planting a device on a police car if you're currently under investigation for torching a cruiser.

As I understand it its called Apple because Jobs is/was a big fan of The Beatles who had created their own record label, Apple Records.
Come on, when was the last time someone jammed your cellular phone. Its about as likely as someone cutting your phoneline, ie not very.
Personally I almost never use a phone so economically the only thing that makes sense is a pay-as-you-go cellular ($100 canadian per year).
Aye, I believe the 24/7 concept plays a big part in the problems of society.

I'm not an american, but why on earth is a patent office paying for reports that apparently have nothing to do with patents?
I believe his point was that MS does update their OS for free via service packs. While they do contain many bugfixes, they also include new features.
According to Wikipedia they released new iPhones in late 2006.
Actually the iPhone trademark was filed in 1996, before Apple "came up with" the idea of prefixing a word with an 'i'.

This post should have gotten a +6 Hilarious, gogo blind patriotism.

Just because Hitler had an enormous number of bad ideas doesn't mean that the VW Bug was one of them.
Perhaps you haven't heard, UMD failed.

I've heard pundits say that Democrats are wary of impeaching Bush as it didn't turn out well politically for the republicans when they tried it.
