    My father drove trucks for a living, but to me the question is always - why the fuck do we still allow large trucks in cities? Built up areas are not designed with large trucks in mind, the number of accidents caused because the drivers can't actually see where they're going is ridiculous.

    Apple is a marketing company not retail. Further, I suspect if you surveyed the people in the store most of them are waiting for service on their idevice not purchasing anything.

    What do you actually trust on alixpress? Personally I won't buy electronics due to fire risks, or buy items that touch food for obvious reasons.

    Its a well known phenomena that investors will often buy in high and sell low. When prices are high people feel they need to get in on the action so they don't miss out.

    This is entirely false, bitcoin only has value because people think it does. Copper has an underlying value, even if markets aren't speculating on it there will always be a buyer with a use for it as a conductor willing to pay something for it.

    They most likely use it for seeds, its unlikely to change by enough from moment to moment. Maybe raises a question what happens if they need to seed many hosts at once.

    Ditto, Googling Martin Gottesfield suggests he arranged a DDoS of a hospital "for protest" which affected their ability to see patients and perform research. Pretty big difference from Aaron Swartz was involved in.

    They have a campus in Canada, also remember Google doesn't hold their assets in the US either so in that some hypothetical situation Canada could go to talk to Ireland.

    Not sure how that is relevant at all.... but publication bans are typically for preventing prejudicing potential jurors, after the case ends there may still be some restrictions (e.g. can't publish the name of a sexual assault victim or the name of a defendant who is a minor).
