its not a dupe, the other one was merely a question "will it only be released on the PS2", this one is confirming that, i suggest you read the posts again
i wouldnt like to be this guy;
"I want one! My GF said she would leave me if I get one - in the least she'll be really upset. Should I take a chance and make the purchase?
hehe"
Id Like to know the possible purposes of these robots, like with the example of crawling through rubble, it makes me think of a robot searching for people after an earthquake, getting to places we couldnt, anyone else get any impressions like that?
thanks =D
shareaza is good, no nasty stuff, well, so far...
i hate bearshare, i had it before now, its horrible, it installs all this random stuff and is fairly slow, i think the only reason why people use it is because its easy
"Nothings Free". maybe the government run the world by following old sayings...
(waiting for a reply with someone giving an example of an old saying, and a smart-ass comment to follow:P (i cant think of one))
would be my brother, and he uses linux (and occasionally windows (when he wants to play games))
and DONT say i dont get out much, thats beside the point...
ahh, i once made a dos box, i completely forgot my xp machine (i support linux, i have it, but i just like to play games). ahh the joys of getting the latest/. posts in under.05 seconds. i started using EDIT instead of office, i even got an mp3 player for it! ahhh, those were the days...
my brother made his own reader/writer, using parts from old tape players, i dont know where he found the information for it or what, but theres no need to pay $200 for it, not when you could buy a $20 radio and make it yourself
although your comment was rather mean towards square-soft (they may well deserve it), i have to agree that their recent games have defininetly been going downhill, i lost interest when they released FFIX, if your looking for a good "square" game, youd probly have to go as far back as FFVII (my favorite game). Blizzard does deserve alot of credit with WoW, but you have to admit, the "down" time is rather a problem, in fact, they had their "game-of-the-year" revoked from penny arcade because of it (previous/. post), im not willing to pay for it untill it becomes stable. but i have been a fan of both square and blizzard (im a fan of most great game creaters). so my opinion is rather a neutral one...
If you are looking for an alternative to WoW, try rose online, it may look like a simple kiddy mmorpg, but believe it or not, but it has economics involved, supply and demand, if a certain town is running out of a certain material, then the price for that material goes up. there is a possibility of taking over a world or all seven (there are seven worlds), therefore giving you power to change many aspects of the game, as a player. unfortunately it is still in BETA testing, you can download it at www.roseon.com (its around 350mg, it has to update weekly aswell, around another 350mg, so expect a long wait when updating) for now, the game is free, i believe eventually it will be a pay-to-play game, but for now it is an excellent alterative to WoW for those who do not wish to pay. for more information (very interesting, especially the "taking over the world" thing) goto http://www.roseon.com
"Question:
I have a BLOCKBUSTER Movie Pass - why should I keep it now that there are no more late fees for any rental?
Answer:
The BLOCKBUSTER Movie Pass still lets you rent unlimited movies with the added benefit of no due dates. That means you can rent as many movies as you want (up to the maximum allowed by your plan) and return them whenever you want, for one low monthly fee."
I dont believe this actually answers the question completely. "Whats the point of this card now?" "there is none!, but we wont tell you that, we'll just slap some advertisement for it here:"
as its biogenetics, there are many things that we dont account for, diseases may not be the worst of it, we could possibly create more than just the moral dillemas (nothing i can think of), but think how similar this is to robotics, but with different risks, say you used some sort of cyborg arm, you could have a malfunction, or be hacked, or many computer related problems, if you had bio-genetically enhanced muscle you could lose muscle tissue from an incompatable blood system (of course, this would have been extensivly tested, so theres not much chance of it), you could get a disease. in all of this, we think nothing wrong of something say, like a robot with some small A.I. yet, a mouse with slight intellect increase is a completely different matter, ONLY because of morals, so, too bad for all you people saying that this is bad, but i agree that this is something we should look into. if you have a problem with this, then think, do you have a problem with robotics/A.I.?
