Me am agree.
English is not the first language for a large part of internet users, so... there are some of us who just plain suck at english. Please keep the thought around.
The only way one can store the "whole internet" in a 80GB drive is to drop off the pr0n. I mean... besides the pr0n, everything else should fit in a 80GB drive, right?
Yeah, I mean, just because there are a hell of a lot of festive, happy, accepted songs calling for 'mi negro' and 'mi negra', with the common variation of 'negraza', and the derogatory form of 'negro' is just assumed in the english speaking countries, doesn't mean we all have to firmly believe that the word is being used in the same way that a native english speaker is going to use it, specially in a place like the internet where people tend to be from very different places around the globe and... oh, wait.

the everyday Joe who would have never considered a Mac before.
And, considering myself an everyday Joe as far as computers go, you can consider that the everyday Joe also needs to buy a whole new computer. I need to buy a new video card, new procesor, new MoBo and new RAM just to run Vista... and if I need to do all that, then I prefer to buy a Mac and get away from Windows. I don't care about the price diference.
I'm an everyday Joe with a Mac in my mind.

The Year of Linux. The Year of the Mac. Hey... we should make a chinese-like zodiac:D
Funny. Where I live, the poverty line is below the $3,000 dollars a year for a whole family. No welfare, no food stamps, no subzides, no nothing. No TV, either.
"Society made me do it" is not and will never be a completly valid excuse.
People just can't realize their good luck, do they?
Praise their efforts maybe, not their results. I've had enough "You're not that bad..." comments in my life to find them even more insulting that the "At least you try." ones.
What I don't like about this is that some people are going to want to get a preview of the new episodes. To get that preview, they are probably going to download them. And when they download them, Fox is going to get all ballistic about lost revenue, even if the downloading fans are actually planing to buy the DVDs...
Sure. Everyone knows how to defend themselves against hackers. Geez, everyone even knows hackers don't use a patch in the eye, have a parrot on their shoulder and can't make computers explode.
IF you saw The Dark Knight and IF you are from a country where they are showing this trailer. I surely didn'y saw it.
And while they're at it, they can return Preview the abillity to run animated gifs.
I hear ya. Although I'm waitin' for zombies.

That's when I take my coffee brake. Then I get back to work ;P
What do you mean? Most of the new RPGs make me hit play, sit back and watch the movie... err... cinematics.

For a story, I read a book. I want to play, dammit.
Nobody is forcing you to watch any of it.
You don't have kids, do you?

I doubt you will be seeing very many CRT-based TVs being sold two or three years from now.
;P?
You don't travel that much out of the big economy conutries, do you
There's less to discover and invent the further into the future we go.
Yeah... someone said something like this about physics around the end of XIX century, if I recall correctly. This time we must be correct.
Then load tons of bots in channels pretending to be 'users'. You could even get creative and make them idely chatter with each other..
I... kinda feel someone already did this. It would explain the behavior in some irc networks.
Some options may be Firegila, Firequidna, Firewallabie, firehummingbird, Fireturtledove, Firechanate or some other Fire-NotCommonAnimalName ;)
Ehm... no :/
That's what I been trying to get my gf to understand, actually :P
Who's talking about destroying kids :O?
