    The diffrence between modifying your car and modding an XBox is that (IFAIK) once you open the case on the system you've voided the warranty so they don't have any responciblity if the patch breaks modded hardware. for cars i'm sure there are parts that if you open them up and tinker with them then their warrantys are voided but it wont void your entire warranty on the vehicle.

    Actually, in my senior year of high school we did cover a number of "life origins" theory in a humanities class including alien seeding and various religious myths. This was in a high school about 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA.

    that's the type of class ID belongs in. not in the science class

    I doubt this. If windows wasn't on 90% to 95% (extremely rough guess) and it was some other OS then all the malious hackers and script kittys out there would target that OS. we'd still have the same problems and people would bitch about who ever released said OS

    there wasn't anything in the impactor to create the crater. it's the same effect that meteors and comets have when they strike the earth. one hell of a large crater and no chemical explocives nessisary

    Seriously... who the hell ARE these people??

    These people are the ones with too much time on thier hands. My solution: make people get a licence to raise kids. If you have the IQ of a walnut or lower or you want some one else to take teach your kids good moral judgment and no let them have access to conten that you find offencive then you have to leave various body parts at the door

    1st don't get me wrong, Doom 3 wasn't a bad game for what it was supposed to be; a re release of the orginal Doom but it had no where near enough of the run and gun of Doom and Doom 2.

    Quake 4 on the other hand looks like it kept with this format and did it right; utter chaos everywhere. Can't wait for this to be relased

    Don't blame the kid, he was just doing what every underaged kid who wanted GTA did; ask the parental unit(mom, dad, grandparent, etc) to buy it for them since he knows they wont bother reading the box or the labels. the lawyers and grandmother are the idiots in this case

    though it will still do nothing for the idiots that just buy what ever game their kid is begging for and let them play it regardless.

    This is exactly the problem with parents these days, not all mind you, just the ones who let thier 12-15 year olds play GTA or such and then get up-in-arms about the game when a mod gets released that shows bad cartoon sex with fully dressed adults. These parents need to get a god damn clue.
