so, what, you're saying that the beating was okay because he was curious? Or its okay for the police to hand out punishment? Don't you think that's the role of the courts?
the "pancake" configuration, as you call it, is commonly called a "boxer" "horizontally opposed" or "flat" engine - Subaru use them for their cars in both a a 2.0 / 2.5 liter flat-four and a 3.0 liter flat 6. They are very smooth, and they do lend themselves to being at the bottom of the engine bay, helping to lower the centre of gravity. Porsche also make horizontally-opposed six cylinder engines for installation in the 911, boxter, and cayman. I believe radial engines aren't used due to the fact that in both inline, V, and flat engines the crankshaft (the power output) is quite low in the engine bay - keep in mind the ideal configuration of engine/gearbox/drivetrain has the wheels > gearbox > engine in a single line. Using a radial engine will "lift' the crankshaft away from the floor of the car, with the gearbox necessarily following suit.
Back to Oz, how about material that has not (yet) been submitted for rating? Does it have to be submitted for rating first to become RC and in effect forbidden? Do e.g. movies have to be classified before they are allowed to be distributed?
That's pretty much how it works - if you want to distribute it, you/must/ submit it to classification first.
You fail to understand how the ratings board works in Australia - certainly, the ratings board says they're not "censors" but anything that is "RC" - refused classification - cannot be legally distributed. In that context, it cannot be called anything else *but* censorship.
See, the problem I have there is a simple one - where do you draw the line at "not worth the time"? if, as you say, $300 isn't worth it...does that also work in the other direction? Speeding fines and such are generally in the 2-300 dollar range...if its worth them prosecuting me for this trivial amount, why isn't it worth them doing a similar level of "work" to recover a $300 device?
Don't forget, rebuilding a RAID array is probably the most stressful thing you can do to the disks that were already in the array. So stressful, it might just be enough to push another disk over into failure...
Native Mac Mini IR remote support, native support for Logitech harmony universal remotes (which extends the control set beyond the four cardinal points, select, and menu) as well as much more cool stuff.
yep, ditto. LittleBigPlanet was like that...I just wanted to get in and start making COOL STUFF! but no. Play through the levels we made, then you have to play through the tutorials for every. Single. Item.
I've used a paint program before, so perhaps its not necessary for me to watch a tutorial on how to use one in the game?
Or hey, devs, here's a better idea. Unlock everything, without forcing tutorials, and let players figure things out for themselves - maybe the players will make things out of your stuff that you never heard of!
The trick with Moto's is, they won't start charging via USB until the OS tells it its okay - ie, the high-power mode for USB has kicked in. This is usually a driver function. If your Motorola can, (my V9 can, but my v3 gen1 couldn't) you should use it as a USB mass storage controller, rather than as a modem - then you shouldn't need drivers, for most modern OS's at least.

...down the antenna?
Sitting at a red light, then the car jumps to 60mph in a couple of seconds? Jesus. That's quicker than a Veyron.
the nvidia ion? the one with closed-source drivers? ...hmm...

I don't know, but i'd pay money to watch it.
Including zombie nerve agents
nononono...not zombie nerve agents - they're anti-aging treatments that can bring dead cells BACK TO LIFE!

No, but there are plenty of maternal and paternal twins.
think about it.

Tom Clancy's version was called Canary Trap. The idea has been around for much longer, though.
Well...cats DO have rough tongues...
I'm sure someone would give you a hand...

XBMC.app, huh?
Seriously. Ditch that, get with the program, and run Plex.

Reminds me of a George Carlin skit:
"Besides, there is nothing wrong with the planet. Nothing wrong with the planet. The planet is fine. The PEOPLE are fucked."

...and gasoline.
Gasoline...and A MATCH!
I've got a better one than that - the elevator I was in once got a offer of a much better phone plan.
Don't forget Hercules Returns!
I can run Vista on 512 MB of RAM, but not nicely.
That's not running Vista, friend.
That's walking.
A bit slow though, makes me wonder what everyone else is running on there.
Yeah, sorry, that was me. All sorted now. Man, this guy has a lot of porn!
