Only reason I run windows at home is cause it's main purpose is games, I had more success moving my work machine to linux than my home machine.

I personally think companies should be liable if they release a product with a virus on it. Virus are so common these days that you'd think one of the final checks on any device with a FS is a virus scan.

    1. Why do you consciously try to deliberate over any choices?
Because you don't have any choice in the matter? If all our decision are determined by brain makeup then the choice to consciously deliberate over a choice is not actually a choice.
    2. The next time you blame your girlfriend or boyfriend or boss for anything, why bother?
Again, you don't have a choice. You are acting this way because the makeup of your brain says that's what you do in that situation.
    3. ...You could not possibly persuade us to freely change our minds through conscious deliberation on these questions. So why not just give it up?
But the catch is the person trying to convince you you're not free is not free to choose. Personally I believe a person placed in the exact same scenario will do the exact same thing every time, the problem is there is no real way to test it because as soon as it's been done once the senario is not the same as the brain has extra information it didn't have the first time.

I work in a public school in Aus, the net connection is very heavily filtered, even for staff, to the point that trying to do work is a fight.

The system is slow, useless, stupid, retarded, limited, programmed by monkies and those are it's good points!

List of stupid thinks these filters do
Breast Cancer research = fail, students might see some tits, oh noes!
Any reasearch relation to sex = fail, can't let our kids know about sex!
Image searches = fail, sorry we can't filter out just the porn so we'll just block it all!

Yep, just what I want for my kids if I had any, a internet connect that couldn't be used for legit research!

XP had alot over 2000 in terms of Group policies, there was a hell of alot more you could with with a 2k3/xp setup than a 2kserver/2kpro setup. For end user XP is just 2000 with a skinning engine, but for anyone using a windows domain there was alot of features added, which really should have been in 2000 anyway but hey.

The Master's use of the Eye of Harmony nearly destroyed Gallifrey, doesn't strike me as something The Doctor would do :) Also, The Master escaped death by a unexplained method in the Movie. He has also stolen a body before the in the episode "The Keeper or Traken". He also extended his life by use of some healing gas in the episode "Planet of Fire". I'm sure The Master has come up with another way to extend his life so he can be in the new series :) There was also the Elixar of Life from the episode "The Brain of Morbius" I'm sure they'll find a way around the 13 lives limit :) Sad to lose Eccleston as a Doctor though, he plays the part so well.
