I think the OP's point is like XP was Windows nt5.1 to Windows 2k's nt5.0 (hint, just an update) and that Windows7 is just an update to Windows Vista, that ME was just an update to Windows 98 osr2.5.
He can have their license to practice law reviewed by the state bar, and the bar can revoke their privilege to practice law.
If, as a lawyer, you piss off a Federal Judge by not doing what the court asks of you, that can be the penalty.
Take a look here

see the view of the virtual desktops on the top right?
KDE has had this feature since at least 98
and I think the beta's had even more.
Gregory Swartz just patented someone elses work
likely seen while working as a consultant in the working environments of his clients.
Mass produced on Honda's level of manufacture, it would probably not be a significant price addition.
It also may lower insurance rates for Hondas if data shows that it saves lives and reduces accidents.
Not true. While it doesn't have the penetration of Ubuntu, It's still consistently in the top six or seven downloaded from distrowatch.

Try it.
It's way better than SuSE. I have The 2008 PowerPack, It includes LinDVD already set up, it has nVidia and ATI drivers avalable on install, it's the only distro that picked up my no name StarLogic 1680x1050 monitor and set the resolution correctly.
Mandriva is flat out slick.
You mean like a mesh network?
Your battery life would go to hell in a handbasket.
You can however buy a repeater for your home or car.
Google "Personal Cell Repeater"
But none of them are automatic withdrawals.
Every month I take the time to go to the website of the biller in question, and tell them exactly what I want to pay. That way if there's a mistake, It's my mistake.
I also have a specific checking account I use for online payments. I only transfer enough to pay what I said I'd pay and not a dime more.
Just as a layer of insulation between my checking account and my bill account.
Incandescent Light Bulbs DO refresh, and florescent lights flicker as well.
Incandescent flickers (refresh) at 60 cycles a second because of the specs on power here in the US. (120v 60hz)
Florescent flickers because the light is produced by an arc charged gas. (zap zap zap zap)
Most people can't see this, some (myself included) can.
The deal is, that bands make the bulk of their money from touring not from records. In fact, most bands make very little from album (or CD if you will)sales.
By doing what they did, Metallica stood up for record company profits.
Most of the mp3's available on Napster were crappy 128kbps rips.
They were cool for checking out music that you might want to buy, but they weren't anything to shout home to mom about.
As a result, in the napster years, CD sales were up. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2001/08/05/PK220163.DTL
Thats right, Napster helped sell CD's.
When the record companies shut down Napster, CD sales dropped like a rock and never recovered.
Apple came out with iTunes and a new paradigm was born. The record companies lost control of the distribution channel.
Metallica helped cause this, so I guess we should be grateful to them for causing the record companies downfall.
I was at The Farm in SF, way back in the day when Metallica said "copy our tapes and hand them out to your friends" and we did.
Then they got a fat assed contract and said "stop copying our property and giving it away for free" We need MORE money.
Lars and James were at the forefront of both.
Now that the world has quit listening, they want to give it away again.
Thanks, I'll pass.
Doesn't work.
I've been having difficulty with wireless usb lan devices.
I turn off the power management, and they still lose connection. but only when the user is logged off for ten minutes or more. when they log back on, the network refuses to reconnect.
you must either reboot, or physically disconnect the usb lan device and then reconnect it.
plugging the lan device into a powered usb hub doesn't help.
I tried the hotfix for this issue, but no joy.
the only fix that works is to not log off the machine.
The media companies should lose all rights after a period of 5 years, then all rights should fall back to the artists themselves for a period of 20 to 25 years, renewable for another 15 by the artists themselves, and only the artists. not the estate of, not another media company.
if the artist dies during the origninal copyright term, the estate receives the remainder original 20 to 25 years, non-renewable. if the term has been renewed by the artist for the extended term, the estate gets half of that.

TCP/IP is not native to Windows. Windows has the translation overhead that Linux doesn't.

Have your fellow Idahoians been moving to California? There seems to have been an increase of slow-drivers-that-won't-move-over here. Recently.
Add me to the chorus of Avast. It simply works and works well.

you can boot into dos from a usb drive formatted fat 32, all it requires is bios support. download the HP USB disk storage format tool http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,64963-order,4-page,1-c,peripherals/description.html have a dos boot floppy handy for the necessary dos files. run the format tool, and then tell it where your dos files are. then install whatever dos tools you want from http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a0503736/php/drdoswiki/index.php?n=Main.Links it should run on any computer that can boot from usb.
Does this mean the Phenom will be produced on 22nm scale? Could be a very interesting development in the AMD/Intel chip wars.

Install Firefox, whack in AdBlock , NoScript, and FlashBlock and you have more privacy and security than with IE.
It came with an Aztec modem soundcard combo. They came in a few hp's and a whole lot of packard bells.
Is 93 dollars and change after taxes and fees.
Set it out in the sunshine for about ten minutes. Sunlight is a great disinfectant

They'd rather play than develop. Can't say I blame them.
not the ISP's, they are indemnified with this plan. this just makes it convenient to ask congress to rid the scourge of neutrality from the net.

I was raring a file up to email and I got the out of memory error. Vista blows.
for a good price, and I'll buy. Keep the CD, I'll burn my own. As much as Robertson tried, he still didn't get it.
