Of course it has stalled, and will probably fail. But not because it's inferior to its' U.S. counterpart. And not because of financial or other reasons they would have you believe are the cause. Galileo will quite simply fail because government interests are actively thwarting the effort. Do you really think that the current U.S. administration will allow a technologically superior navigation system to become functional with little or no U.S. control?
I submit that anyone who would call the search for the truth nutty is an idiot. Hear me now: Without bees, as with many many things Homo Sapiens is ignorant of, Mankind is doomed. Read it. Learn it. Live it.
I agree that 50% of the reported news must be positive. Not only is it healthier psychologically, but there is just as much happy news out there as there is negative news. The reason we are fed a predominance of negative news: It makes the rich people out there more money. Yes, it IS that simple. End of line.
There's one glaring problem with that statement that I can see. It costs absolutely nothing more to generate webcode that's follows the W3C HTML standards than to generate webcode that accepts only Internet Explorer. In fact, you need to purposely use bad coding techniques to do so. Lest we forget: Sites that work only with Internet Explorer DO NOT use 100% W3C standard HTML. And since no-one else on the planet has a right to specify what 100% HTML is, the error falls on the shoulders of web developers. Shame on them. Being a programmer myself, I have morals and pride. Why would I purposely use non-standard code and reach 90% of the market when I could use W3C standard HTML and reach 100% of the world with less effort?
When will they ever learn? What they can conceive, we can circumvent. Either the MPAA/RIAA will bow to consumer demand by (providing content at a much lower price) or they might as well close up shop. Really now, do actors need to be making 12 million dollars for a film? I think not. Likewise, start at the corporate top, and start making salary cuts at the CEO-level.
I think he's made a wise and informed decision. Too bad not enough parents are intelligent and worldly enough to recognize the importance of limiting gaming content to children. Kudos!
But have they considered the ramifications of "harvesting" energy from the Jet Stream? Any energy they "extract" is removed from that part of the system, and could alter the delicate balance that exists. We're already screwing up our worlds temperature through greenhouse gas emissions, destroying parts of the food chain via pollution through several vectors, draining crop soils of nutrients by over-farming, over-fishing the oceans stocks, losing plant and animal species both near and at the base of the food-chain because of a number of human factors, etc, etc. When will we get a clue? I will add that if done in a way so as to minimally stress the system, then it should be researched further and potentially executed.
Any move that takes the current US administration out of the picture is a step in the right direction. Bush and his cronies have become the Nazi of our time. If you aren't doing as they tell you it should be, you're the enemy.
It's saddening to find that 48% of Americans are ignorant, and refuse to accept the truth in logic and science. This is a failure we all share for letting them grow up this way.
Well, then . . . I presume that you did the "right thing" and refused the "request." After all, it is your responsibility, as is all citizens, to do so when proper legal paperwork/signitures, etc, are not provided. The government will not protect our rights, so it is up to us to protect each other.
All you have to do is target the center of the blurred area and drop a bunker-buster. Bye-bye Indian government building. What's so hard about that? And, by the way, less outsourcing. A win-win situation. lmao
States should be required, with government military force if need be (and they can put Maine's Governor in front of a firing-squad while they're at it), to comply. It's a great idea that is long overdue.
This is exactly what happened to me when I repaired my eMachine last year. I replaced the mainboard, processor, and power supply unit with identical parts, as the failure of the latter caused the destruction of the former. I was told by an eMachines representative that I could get reactivated simply by contacting Microsoft. The rep even connected me with Microsoft. I thought, "Wow, this is service." Once I had the Microsoft rep on the line I was told that I'd have to purchase the OS again. Basically, eMachines blew me off. I'll never purchase an eMachine again, nor will I recommend one to anyone I know or any business partners or clients. I emailed both eMachines and Microsoft relating my dissatisfaction, but received the deaf ear treatment from both companies.
Stick that up your a$$, RIAA!!! Btw, I illegally dowmload music. Oops! There, I said it. Try and sue me you sluts! I'll shoot the first one of you bastards that steps foot on my property. Muhahahaaaaa!!!!!

Freak'n retards. Geesh!
Asking a politician to fix anything is stupidity. Science will be our only savior.
Yes, boycott Wiley and Wiley's journals. They will join US, or they will die!
No they're not. All lies.

Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope they do.

Wow, sounds like Thialand's government might suck more than ours.

Well, one shouldn't rely on a game console for DVD playback ... That's what a standalone DVD player is for (and will do a much better job at as well).
Awesome! I hope they win and get every dime they sue for.

Kudos! An awesome idea. If some here cannot see the relevance, they are n00bs with no brains.
That's because they're dumbasses. Typical Apple-purchasing simpletons.
