Couldn't they just have you plug a phone line into the reciever? If I'm correct almost all phone companies are required to give 911 service even if the user is not currently a customer. I know that this service is required for all cell phones.
If you had read, I said nothing about a lack of "buttons" but a lack of numbers. The whole reason I mentioned that was to bring about the keys existing but not being numbered.
Lets just hope they won't re-dub it or pull a 4-Kids on it.
4-Kids completely screwed up One Piece with a bad dub, censoring it, and then slapping "Navy" on top of "Marines" so that kids would understand it. That is the only series that I really liked and promised never to buy because of what 4-Kids did to it.
The dub for NGE isn't that bad but the original japanese is always the best.
All it might be is a phone with a circle drawn and a vis from iTunes slapped onto the screen. Also notice the placement on the keypad, it lacks numbers and also the placement of the wheel might hinder the use of the keys.
That is an interesting way of looking at these two subjects. But, not seperating IE might be harmful to them and to their users if (1) the amount of holes increases because it is part of the OS and (2) if they have to keep going into court because of IE and Windows being together.
I think if they would at least try to seperate the two, they might have fewer(or just not as dangerous) security holes to worry about.
This happens to me in firefox but you can let it collect the garbage by minimizing and restoring the window. I do this quite often and it has since become habit. This most i've seen it take on mine is ~576Mb. When it gets that bad though, sometimes a restart is required.
How is one able to say something is or isn't "random". All "randomness" we know(or don't) is applied probability. If something is thought to be "random" because it returns a different value than before that is actually less random in the sense that you can predict that number has a less chance of being chosen next time. This presents a problem in that all randomly generated numbers can be generated again if the conditions are right.
If you read the small print on the bottom of Q3D's picture of the Explorer you will see "Soldier not included". You need someone else to operate it after you pay an arm and a leg for it.
I think Balmer is violating Nintendo's Insanity Patent.
We could help Apple by hosting a DDOS against Creative!
Slashdotters away: Creative
Don't know how that would help, but it gives us something to do till the next article.
They could use lead paint in their ... wait...
Is that $25 Canadian?

...at least they aren't using IE, their character could get a virus.
Is it just me or has this guy lost all his $$. http://201.555.193.31/wallet doesn't turn up anything.
Didn't this happen with BETA and VHS?
BETA was much better but VHS just stuck.
no, only certain parts of it.

Think me stupid but... If we are trying to go forward and advance ourselfs, isn't it ironic how we want to go back?

The picture of the "ethernet hub" has telephone lines plugged into it, not cat5...
I think they need a better arm in their webserver because their site has been /.'ed.

Take out the Flight Sim 2004 CD first.
He could install osX in PearPC and request repair for it "running slow".
