I really dont see whats the big deal in terms of ID.In Malaysia and Singapore, there have been ID cards since the 40's and people have not riled up against it.No,we have not complained about it and no we have not thrown a tantrum about it.Is it just a US and time phase of paranoia or is there anything to be genuinely concerned about?
Yeah baby, lets go after BG Lee Hsien Loong and the Islamic Republic of Singapura.Seriously,do some research please.I reckon the main Islamist threat comes from JI or the dudes at SOuthern Thailand.
Hands down I would use Office 2007.Why?Cos who ever who designed the UI,IMHO,is a mother f*cking genius, everything is well place, everything has purpose and I get to use more features that i never knew existed.OO acts like the older Office and that sort of feels to me,a bit restrictive to what i can do on office. Also, unless API's for Office are ported to OO,Bloomberg users will not jump to OO.
I say bull??Exchange supports push email for mobiles as long as you have the Mail4Exchange App.Works exactly like a blackberry without all the costs.Best part is you can get the service for free from mail2web.com.Hence,just forward all ur mail to this and u have free push email
If this catches on,it might even become like a chain of laser etching shops.Just that no royalties or franchise fees needs to be paid and if everyone contributes back to the "source code",then most problems can be ironed out and everyone is happy
Though there is one problem, how does one etching business gain over the other? Is it purely like Burger King where its based on geographical location or through special things the shop can do.
I don't see this as a pure Indian problem alone, but as an Asian problem. The whole system is tailored towards obedience and rote learning that it saps creativity and initiative from the students.
In Malaysia especially,a person doesnt ask wheter u were a national debater or a national sportsman, they just ask u ur exam results. This,to them is more important than anything else. Also,Malaysian universities are not exactly the best place to learn, they have great facilities no doubt but really crappy lecturers. They are also a breeding ground for politics where the government practically bombards them with propaganda.
Add to the fact that because the education system is racially biased, the brilliant students who cannot afford to go overseas may not be able to get aplace in the local uni's.So we have a massive brain wastage in Malaysia
Give employees room to do their work, where ever, whenever.the place where I work makes everyone sit in islands(with laptops facing one direction).Hence, most of the time,i usually just get my work done in the pantry, its simple and conveient
The ESI Julia@ and Audiotrak Prodigy 7.1 are very very nice cards.Quite popular in Malaysia as it is dirt cheap,or u could even go for a modified 0404,though i am not so sure on the price
I third that,I am always on the computer and have a very bad posture problem, but with yoga,it seems to go away instantly. The first time would be a bit painful as you are streching unused muscles but after a while, the pain is kinda addictive and soothing
On the topic of calculators,i can say that the HP 33s is a major pain in the arse. The decimal is so small you can hardly see it,the keys are good but need some major force to push, and using RPN is too tediousome for certain Pre college students. One thing good bout the calculator would be its massive memory for equations and programming and the rubber grip by the side of the calculator
To tell you the truth, the major calculator used in South East Asia would be the Casio FX-570MS.Cheap(only USD10), fast and bloody durable. This is the cheap all in one in Malaysia.ANother thing,it can do Vector,Matrix,Intergration and Diffrentiation all for the cheap price of USD10.if i am not mistaken,it is banned for some examinations in several countries due to its capabilities.
One way you could do it is to couple a GPSMAP 60 from Garmin or any other cheap Garmin GPS receiver and hook it up to the Garmin MapSource Program or GPSMapEdit by either serial or USB.You get to save all the POIs and waypoints and even render vector maps which are much better than the normal maps. The only problem would be is the maps would only be Garmin receiver compatible.
Intel's Leveraging of Its Other Product Lines to Unfairly Disadvantage
AMD in the Marketplace
122. Intel has also designed and marketed microprocessor-related products with the
goal of compromising performance for those who opt for AMD solutions, even if it requires
sacrificing its own product quality and integrity.
123. An example is Intel's compilers. Generally, independent software vendors
("ISVs") write software programs in high-level languages, such as C, C++, or Fortran. Before
these programs can be understood by a computer system, they must be translated into object
code - a machine-readable language - by a software program called a compiler. Different
companies write compilers for different operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and for
different programming languages (C, C++, Fortran, etc.). Intel offers compilers for use with a
variety of different operating systems and programming languages.
124. Intel's compilers are designed to perform specialized types of optimizations that
are particularly advantageous for ISVs developing software programs that rely heavily upon
floating point or vectorized mathematical calculations. Such programs include, for example,
mathematical modeling, multimedia, and video game applications.
125. Intel has designed its compiler purposely to degrade performance when a program
is run on an AMD platform. To a
chieve this, Intel designed the compiler to compile code
along several alternate code paths. Some paths are executed when the program runs on an Intel
platform and others are executed when the program is operated on a computer with an AMD
microprocessor. (The choice of code path is determined when the program is started, using a
feature known as "CPUID" which identifies the computer's microprocessor.) By design, the
code paths were not created equally. If the program detects a "Genuine Intel" microprocessor,
it executes a fully optimized code path and operates with the maximum efficiency. However,
if the program detects an "Authentic AMD" microprocessor, it executes a different code path
that will degrade the program's performance or cause it to crash.
126. ISVs are forced to choose between Intel's compilers, which degrade the
performance of their software when operated with AMD microprocessors, or third-party
compilers, which do not contain Intel's particular optimizations. Sadly for AMD and its
customers, for legitimate reasons Intel's compilers appeal to certain groups of ISVs, especially those developing software programs that rely heavily on floating point and vectorized math
calculations. Unbeknownst to them, performance of their programs is degraded when run on
an AMD microprocessor not because of design deficiencies on the part of AMD, but
deviousness on the part of Intel.
I mean like in the US and Europe, you guys have more consumer awareness on the goods and services that you buy. Here in Asia, especially Malaysia,we suffer due to the lack of customer awareness. This makes the customer services slack abit in their services cos they know not many people know of their rights.Another thing i would like to add,the laws in Asia are not particulaly strong to protect the consumers and are more to protect the companies.Blargh,we even have useless monopolies that never offer any good services due to their link with the givernment

Simple, cos its so ingrained in people's mind that to them Microsoft=Computer like Ipod=Mp3 Player.Thank god now my parents think Internet=firefox

If this comment is crap, just mod me down

Invest in something proven, opensource does not have a trackrecord that i know off.Put it in other equities based on financial research and ratios.
I have a feeling they use Google for its rendering,as i was surfin a site and suddenly an error message with the google logo was there
Ah,good ol' private equity, bringing nothing but debt on the table

Oddly Firefox doesnt detect either of Google RSS and ATOM feeds

yet everyone knows that a browser is the extensioni of your penis, maybe he is Jealous of Firefox's penis?
and where do you think Malaysia and India currently?
