I don't know... there are quite a few games I can't imagine playing without the touch screen now. Meteos... Animal Crossing... Big Brain Academy.. There were some that we kind of gimicky, but which ones were stupid?
Well, they are hinting at the DS having some kind of tie to the Wii. The Wii is said to be able to download demos that can be downloaded into the Wii (much like how the DS startions are in Best Buy, etc)... Also some hints (no confirmation) that you can have added functionality in future games with the DS + Wii.
What's interesting is that if there was any "faking it" they were doing it using older, inferior hardware. It's not like they had the Wii controllers actually hooked up to a Sony PS3 or Xbox 360...

I saw Tron as a kid and I still like it today (though not as much, but still do)...
A new Tron comic is set to come out this spring...
And as another poster mentioned, I really loved Reboot...
Though my experience is just anecdotal, I haven't really seen a falloff. I do see lulls here and there, but working in support, I do see a lot of malware still on computers... Using a small sample of course.
