    Unfortunatly you'r right . Far too many people have far too many hangups when it comes to Sex and the human body , almost everyone enjoys it , but its hard to get them to admit it .
    We had a cruel joke in school ,
    We would ask someone if they liked porn .. If they said no ,they were called a lier and a wanker . If they said yes they were called a wanker and an idiot for admiting it .

    I would have suggested .sex but nevermind .
    If we can start moving all the pornography on to .xxx sites then we could make it far easier for people who dislike pornography to block it out .
    I don't imagine everyone would comply , but the more ethical porn sites would and its atleast a start.
    ofcourse you could some realy odd stuff on a .xxx domain , like the site for awfull movie xXx.

    When Electric cars become commen place , the national grids i imagine will need to have a serious overhaul due to the added requierments for extra power .
    If we dont move away from fuel sources such coal gas oil etc then we may have just as much poloution albeit more centralised .
    I will have to check into that , but i imagine charging up a battery for one of these things will seriously hike the electricity bill /requierment

    Three pronged attack ,

    First a strong router firewall , basicaly block all ports to the windows box that you dont require (so basicaly only ports 80 and perhaps 20/21 if your require FTP etc) couple this with a software firewall so any outgoing traffic does not leave the computer.

    Switch off all unrequired services in windows , there are plenty of guides to this onlinehttp://www.theeldergeek.com/services_guide.h tm thats one for example which should help stem alot of problems.

    and thirdly a good colection of anti-spyware stuff , spy-bot ,adaware , and perhaps the MS one should be able to catch alot of the crap .

    from then on , it should keep it relativly safe if you dont dont do anything silly .
    I occasionaly still need to use windows for some work things , luckly i can keep it totaly off the network

    I guess its part of the Human condition to wonder "What if" , my inlaws are from Germany so it just kind of made me think where i would be now.
    I dont think it would of intentionaly been to spread radiation , only to wipe out a few troops as some last ditch vengance , but considering the way the bomb was going to be made its likely that it would of had the side effect of radiation poisoning .
    Definantly wouldnt have changed the outcome of the war (i worded that badly in my origional post) ,but it may have changed the landscape for years to come ... well it is all just conjecture thankfully we will never know what would have hapend.

    These were dirty bombs(well would have been) the contamination would have made alot of areas uninhabitable-I imagine if they had of completed the work on it they would have made several and when the troops started moving into German soil the spitfull little git that hittler was would have taken thm with him .
    I am fairly sure Hittler would have rather destroyed Germany than see it fall into Non-Germanic hands.
    After all this is just conjecture as it didn't happen

    Hittler was a spitefull little bastard , I have no doubt he would of set several of these up across germany and surrounding countrys they still inhabited to leave a little suprise for the allies when his defeat was imminent .
    on the tops of large buildings etc i imagine , Wiping out a fair few places and soldier and most likely half of germany rather than letting it fall into allied hands .

    If the Nazis had completed work on the nuclear bomb / rocket nuke then the world would be a very difrent place than it is today .
    They most likely would have still lost the war , but the face of europe would be a very difrent one than it is today.
    I suppose it is about time for another "What if " ww2 movie

    It honestly is a great little machine , if only got one game so far and a 512MB memory card but i do use it as a rather MP3 player / vidio player and games machine .
    and i only reall yhave 2 dead pixels which , whilst unaceptable is not really that noticable.
    Though i have heard a few folks who have had upwards of 20 pixels dead

    toshiba may have a souloution for you. The 1 minute recharge of 80% of the power .
    and it only loses 1% over the 100 recharges , not too shabby .
    ofcourse all that info is in the artical , should be with us by 2006/7

    Problem with nuclear batterys , is that they need excelent shielding and a very good disposal system . All too often people just dump batterys in with the ordinary rubbish .
    If you pierce a Radiation based battery, your going to need to get in the Hazard units to lock down your house .
    Ok perhaps this is slight hyperbole , but the risk is still far greater than a small explosion from Lithium-ion based batterys.

    Imported , It would cost a hell of alot to ship back .
    Its a risk i took , dosn't mean im not allowed to be irate over this , though only slightly.
    I will return it to the nearest sony store when its released over here, but the fact is this should never have occured in the first place if proper Quality testing was in place, a company of sonys size has no excuse.

    Its actualy a really good screen ,I got it for playing games and whatching Movies on long trips and so on .
    I was plesantly suprised how comfertable it is to whatch movies on .
    At the distance your holding it the screen feels sufficently large and its a good reseloution to boot(if you encode movies properly).
    Though i do admit its not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for.
