    Obama didn't start the war in Afghanistan, he was left with it, and just abandoning the country to the Taliban and Al Qaeda would be irresponsible and move the world the opposite way of peace.

    Yeah, that's how it works. You don't personally have to walk around and take apart the nukes or collect weapons from the armies. You don't even have to force conflicting nations to talk to each other.

    If you had a blog that was widely read, to the point that you were influencing people across the world to make changes towards peace, then you would have a good argument to get the prize.

    ...and you apparently don't need to take classes to get a degree. It's also spelled with two Ns. Since there's also no one by that name related to Microsoft, it looks like this is just someone who made up some stuff for his online profile.

    Well this seemed more like an exploration ship, so it makes sense that they'd want to check out the planet before going through the gate. Atlantis was more of a settled base where they already knew about the other gates in the network so it wouldn't be something you'd put in your stylish gate room.

    Yeah, if you read the article (kind of weird to do) they say that it did stop picking up sounds and only picked up vibrations directly connected to it like the balloon popping.

    If you look at the site, they have the part going to the buildings as a closed circuit, then an open system meeting up with it at an exchange system. I imagine this way they can use the ocean as a radiator and pull the much colder water from lower depths.

    Hey even in Delphi there are third party packages that people have made to replace the default ones. And of course the whole Indy library for networking.

    I'd guess that they mean 5.5 hours, but since fractions look nicer, they put it in mixed fraction form, but since 5 1/2 looks awkward or like 51/2 they stuck in a hyphen to show that it's not 25.5 hours a day.

    Well it often happens at New Years, sometimes on Mothers Day. There isn't enough capacity for everyone to use the phone network at the same time. Even in a first world country.

    Seriously, who here hasn't charted out the $ to calorie ratios of all the menu items at popular fast food chains? They even make it easier by putting the calorie listings on the back of the place mat at mcdonalds!
