to that space dust collecting module that sort of crashed into the ground (parachutes failed to open) last year? I guess it was supposed to be caught by a helicopter but the damn chute screwed up. Wasn't that supposed to have collected some of this magic dust?
I'll add two links to continue your post. The first one is Doug Thompson's rebuttal to all the people that read the story and went ape-shit for him printing it.
ya, reminds me of a CSI (Vegas) episode. They're examining some blurry security video from a crime scene, one of the crime technicians says 'focus in on his eye!'... so they zoom up and guess what, they can read a newspaper or something reflecting in the perps eyeball.. lol
why do some ancient bones like this fossilize and others just whither away into dust? I'm guessing the latter happens more often than not otherwise there would be bones just about everywhere from every creature.
Torrents don't need the tracker to be online anymore with dht networks. The network could remove the link but it would still be easily accessible by anybody looking on google.
Too bad he's not involving himself figuring out how to make 50% efficient solar panels.. with him on the darpa team, they could probably be making these panels for $1.00 within 3 years. Good luck to him though.
That hard sounds realistic or tenable to ask an isp to install some sort of monitoring software and/or software on their equipment their customers own.. Even the hard core Bush patriots wouldn't let their isp's invade their privacies with such nonsense.
Are universities special in some way that allows the FBI free reign to invade peoples privacy ?? Universities/Colleges are made-up of mostly adults iirc.. and they're citizens of the country for the most part. Have they given up some sort of constitutional right because they're enrolled in a 4 year program ?!
Why isn't the FBI asking consumer-level isp's to install backdoor software on their customers ? College student or an isp subscriber, whats the diff...
Why are you so worried about what other people put in their bodies? You sound like a catholic bishop fretting about heretical groups that indulge in the most unholy & sinful outlawed texts.
Is a person truly guilty of a crime if they only download these movies but refrain from profiting or watching them.. but they simply use the opportunity to aid the global community in accessing this information ?
The Iranian government should take control of the root name servers, if not them the Taliban should take possession and exercise authority over the entire internet (is the taliban still the government or what ? )
Guess you're not on the right torrent sites... public trackers like mininova/suprnova/etc are as slow as you described but there are plenty of ratio'ed/private sites that tv shows/movies can be downloaded from very quickly. Last night I grabbed episode 8 of Rome in under 15 minutes, maxed out my connection at 500KB/sec. Try signing up for bitmetv.org or filelist.org or something like that, if they're accepting new users.

Case in point... You wont find many atheists huddled in foxholes. Times like that tend to induce prayer.
And you won't find too many christians in an abortion clinic either.
Then I would suggest releasing all of your patches to MacIE under the GPL, you know that viral communist licence.

Doesn't look out of the ordinary to me... average sized guy. Or maybe that picture has already been digitally altered
Not sure if it'll get past the NASA censors though, I'll try my luck and see what happens.

Tor Lillqvist is porting gtk/etc code to windows, been doing it for most of the year from what I know. You can read his blog here

He speaks of running evolution on windows in the 3rd or 4th blog entry.

Will Ceren dress up like a ball now ?
Oh ya
register a few thousand gmail accounts and write the interface that will make writing of data to gmail inboxes invisible to the app.

I'll try that out tonight to find out if you're right about the taste. Night.
Spoken from experience, no doubt. *laugh*

Dump the yellow toner.
Wouldn't doing that just leave empty white spots instead ? 8-)
Whats the deal with having to drink lots of water at those heights ?

My favourite site for sodoku's. Nice thing about sodoku's is they're all logic, no math.. easy for someone like me to figure out.
