  1. Re:Good reason to get shut on US Forgets How To Make Trident Missiles · · Score: 0

In the end, our nuclear arsenal serves one purpose: deterrence.

Is that true? We nuked two japanese cities during a war.. and I could easily imagine a situation where a nukes would be useful. Suppose in the next great war (seems inevitable at this point) that 3 armored divisions of very angry russian soldiers are on route to, Poland, lets say... what would be the most efficient way to neutralize them? Nuclear bombs I say.

Wait a second, the 407 is clearly marked as a toll road and the existing highways that run parallel will take you to the same destination albeit with more congestion.. The motorist has a clear option that won't turn into a 18 hour delay.

What's being proposed in this story presents a far different scenerio where the motorist, if they want to avoid the toll road, will have to navigate through a whole bunch of sidestreet, county roads, red lights, lower speed limits, way different

I'm not seeing this the same way you are. What happened here is the court judged the evidence for vaccines causing autism as insufficient. In same way the court decided that 'intelligent design' was not sufficiently scientific to be taught in science classes, I suppose. The door is still open for the vaccine advocates to prove their case... but they have to do the research.

There is a natural (organic if you want to call it that) foie gras that the spaniards market.. it's a regional duckling that gorges on the local feed before moving on. The livers are not nearly as big and the flavor isn't quite the same as force fed foie gras. Besides that, the force feeding of these ducks isn't as horrible as some people make it out to be. They just open the mouth and stick a tube down the throat, filling their tummy up with beans and stuff.. takes 4 seconds and the bird hardly makes a noise (with this happening several times a day for a couple of weeks before slaughter.) I'm sure there are some youtube videos that show it.
