Instagram did it by dropping the quality of high-resolution photos. Maybe Facebook will pay more if this guy replaces the hard disks with 3.5" floppies
Hey guys, I think this technique may already exist. I'm just going by the fact that fifteen other people have independently pointed out the same thing.
I guess this is just a small bite out of the savings made by switching to digital records. If it gets too large, they can just switch back to print. Or does it not work like that?
From: http://www.mindsandmachines.com/2012/06/the-biggest-glitch-of-all-icanns-batching-program-for-new-gtlds/ "ICANN has determined that it can only evaluate 500 applications at a time. It is therefore using something called “digital archery” to separate applications into batches. An applicant picks a time, then attempts to click a mouse as close to that time as possible. The closer you are, the higher batch number you achieve. Combined with this is a round-robin method meant to assure that applications for different regions are fairly represented, though in practice it is grossly unfair. This entire program is flawed, unfair, and will create mayhem and ill-will. And it is completely unnecessary."
Why do they need to give the option? It's not like they are charging extra money for a browser... it's free. As are most other browsers. I guess I never understood why they don't also need to present alternatives to basically every other application that comes with Windows (MSPaint, Calculator, Solitaire, Notepad, etc). Why not?
Anyone free this weekend for a trip?
This is well and good, but what happens when a Marine types 'FLY HARD' into the console and hits return?

Don't feed the trolls!
So the Model B was used by people to enable them to say they owned a Raspberry Pi.
What will the Model A be used for?
Paper and similar materials can keep bending forever with out ever breaking, so I can't see anything going wrong with this.
... I can't wait until it is released for Arduino Diecimila.
Where can I get one of these for my wife?
How about Half-Life 2: Episode 3?
And what's more, this article talks about how they don't know the password mechanics of a good MMO either!

4kB should be enough for anyone.

I can't wait for the prices of non-Apple TVs to crash, just like the MP3 player market.
This can only be good for the discerning consumer.
Cables that explode into lava if anyone tries to take them out of the room.
Stop stealing my test leads!
...non-iPod media player of equal storage and superior features for third of iPod price.
With the way Facebook runs, surely it doesn't take much more than a six-hour lecture to learn.
DC. Everyone knows AC is for killing animals on stage and generating that relaxing hum in audio devices. DC is the way of the future.
I'm sure there's not going to be a massive amount of confusion between 802.11a and 802.11ac or 802.11ad. People are far too tech-savvy these days!
They finally got them.
And $188,000..., sounds like everyone will get their money back!
Yeah, finally something other than XBMC for all those sheep to use their dusty Pis for!
Shows like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo make me realise we will just never understand the human brain.
