  2. Original, not really... on Dystopia Mod Released for HL2 · · Score: 1

The gameplay is very similar Planetside. 3 Armor types, Light, Medium, Heavy. With scaled guns and abilities ( ie Light can Cloak, only Light and Med can hack ). Hack a point and spawn at/near it once hacked. Very much like planetside but smaller scale. and no lag/zerg.

But its a pretty game, cool graphics. But plays much like any other Team Deathmatch game.

The PSP is basically a portable PS2 (to all intents and purposes) and I think that is what gives the DS an advantage. As it has the completely different playing style. While your on the move do you want to play games in the same style you could at home, or something different? That is why I could by a DS over a PSP no-matter what Sony tries to market.

That reminds me a bit (off topic i know) of opening really old office PC's. Installed Just after windows 95 or NT3.51/4 nice old P1 and P2 machines. Open the up and after almost 10 years of use the amount of dust inside of them is just ridiculous yet they still run happily.

But then they had much less heat to lose compared to a modern PC. Also they were pretty quiet. Some of those P1/P2 Machines only had a fan in the PSU. Passive Heatsinks.

Rockstar are riding the new wave. Rockstar North havnt overly reacted as

    A) They want to make it look like the game could be banned, more sales now, at the Premium Price.

    B) they are Scottish and don't give a shit about what some american's think about their game.

If it was designed to go directly through the PCI or PCI-E bus, instead of having to be plugged into a PCI slot and then having it take up a whole SATA slot. It might be worth it.

That way you would get better I/O throughput. But then its techinically more challenging.

Just out of curiousity how much power do ram modules need to stay in state? Could you make a card that sits between the ram and the motherboard to effectively hibernate ur PC? So If you had a powercut you don't lose wat you are working on. A poor mans UPS and a lot less bulky.

The radiation is contained, and is mostly emitted as neutrons which makes the reactor casing radiactive. So materials with very short half-lifes have been chosen which means the casing is no-longer dangerous after a short amount of time. (ie a few years if that).

The ITER now being built in france should be the 1st reactor to give out more power than it takes to start the reaction. but then SHOULD is being the promanent word there.

Personally if the same amount of billions of $ and the haste and best engineers and scientists in the world where chucked at Wind turbines etc instead of the Hydrogen bomb, fission and fusion reactors. Renewables would probably be the most viable source of energy long term. But as it doesnt sound as flashy as nuclear, nuclear gets the funding.

Aim/MSN is the messenger of the masses, and so to talk to the masses you have to use its protocol.
