This is a poorly manufactured political story to reinforce the "Trump is a madman" theory. The server that once contained the Clinton emails is in the possession of the FBI and presumably no longer connected to the internet. When it did exist it was a private server of the Clintons in their New York home. The only reason it would have sensitive information on it would be because it was being illegally used to conduct State Department business by the former Secretary of State Clinton. The emails in question would be the ones that were deleted by Secy Clinton's lawyers as being her personal correspondence with friends and family. The story has more holes than four wheels of delicious Swiss cheese. It is an indication of the desperation of supporters of a deeply flawed candidate who claimed the nomination of her party by devious and probably illegal means as described in the emails of the DNC released by Wikileaks.
Are you aware that the only reason you gave to vote for Gary Johnson is that he's not Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump? Despite their respective flaws, there are actually a lot of people who are worse than both of them.
Successful organisms adapt to the environment or become unsuccessful. The development of feedback systems is a by product of evolution. Most life forms on this little speck of rock have gone extinct, but some are still here evolving our little asses off. People who write studies should read them before publishing.
Addicts in recovery know that the only way to recover a useful life is to stop using drugs. This is best achieved by sitting down with other recovering addicts and discussing the methods they have found successful in reclaiming their lives and changing the behaviors that lead to self-destruction. The only one that can change addictive behavior is the addict him/herself. It is not easy and takes a long time. Medical and mental health professionals are useful in helping addicts with physical and mental issues associated with addiction, but they have no addiction cure yet. The good news is that this approach is widely available without charge. The only requirement is a desire to stop using.
Don't do it, allowing bad behavior to destroy good things just encourages more bad behavior. People who know how to accomplish something worthwhile are the only hope in a world full of loonies.
Since Microsoft made Windows 10 mandatory and tried to install it against the users' will, more people are looking at alternatives. I have shown some of my friends how easy it is to use linux and they are excited about it. Most prejudices are, how can it be worth anything if it's free and it's too hard to learn. A quick demo can cure those. Windows is currently trying to keep people from android. Free software on mobile devices is their biggest current threat.
Executive order 13526 at whitehouse.gov gives a definitive description of classified material and associated markings. Declassification requirements are also described. Opinion: If an item is classified there would be a record of it being subsequently declassified indicating what authority and when the declassification occurred.
If you don't like it, your only choice is to install Linux...
Well not exactly, however, many of the people that I have introduced to linux are amazed that it:
1. Costs $0 vs $119,
2. Has free applications to suit their every need,
3. Is supported by much nicer people than MS products,
4. Is easy to use, not just for geeks anymore,
5. Does not care what you want to do with it within the GPL,
6. Is less vulnerable to cyber crime,
7. Has more flavors than Baskin Robbins,
And much more
Just to clear things up, the article was not a comparison of candidates, it was merely pointing out the criminality of one candidate. The only candidate that has been forthcoming about his bad or criminal behavior is Dr Carson. Integrity is not a quality shared by a large percentage of politicians.
Android development was bought by Google and released as an open source project. The licensing allows anyone to modify it for their own use without copyright fees. I do not believe that they are losing money on it and many companies and individuals have reaped benefits from it.
Conspiracy Alert: Healthcare.gov was likely screwed up on purpose to keep the general population in the dark about what it is going to cost. They will probably keep screwing around with the information (lying) until after the mid term elections.
Actually, if you have enough money to jump on the overpriced apple bandwagon, you should go out and find the most expensive insurance plan regardless of the coverage so that you will have a nice match. According to the president spending money foolishly will stimulate the economy so you will also be patriotic.
My personal thought is, who cares? You get what you pay for, right? Services like Khan Academy are great if they're helping people learn things they wouldn't otherwise take an interest in learning about, or if it enables learning they were interested in but couldn't afford traditional methods of education.
If you're already IN a traditional classroom environment, then no - I'm not sure Khan Academy lessons are so great. I mean, you have to ask, as a paying student, why you're paying your hard-earned money to get a personal classroom experience with supposed educational professionals, who turn around and ask you to sit through canned Khan presentations instead of presenting the material themselves.
As for the "precise explanation of mathematical concepts to be mere nitpicking"? Maybe it is, really? By that, I mean, most people are really only interested in learning math as long as it allows them to accomplish something. The minority who find the theory itself fascinating and want to learn more math for the sake of learning it are the ones who will probably move beyond whatever Khan Academy teaches, and consult other sources.
If you know enough math to get correct answers to the problem you encounter as part of your daily life or job, then that's likely ALL the math you really need to know.
You never get what you pay for when the government is paying the tab with your money. In the US, the student loan program has priced a decent education out of the reach of all but the very wealthy and put millions of others into debt hell. You would need a masters degree to get a job that pays enough to work your way through college.
Many builders are amateurs who are not well informed or careful enough to apply thermal compound optimally. I have found the AMD supplied pads to provide adequate thermal transfer without the bother of thermal compound. Back in my electronic repair days I found thermal compound deteriorates into a dry chalky substance over time. This was a few decades ago so modern versions may be much better in this regard. The efficiency of thermal compound however, varies greatly with the expertise of the user in its application.
One of the reasons that I read Slashdot and other internet information aggregates is because I distrust all traditional news media outlets. At least I get to hear various sides of arguments and if I am informed enough about a subject I can usually discern the truth. In theory journalists are unbiased. Anyone care to evaluate what happens in practice. One of the conditions of employment for New York Times employees that are involved in producing news content, is that they abstain from making political financial contributions. This is to protect the papers image as an unbiased reporter of facts. Two employees who were subject to the rule were listed in contributor public disclosure documents of a political candidate. Their "punishment" was a requirement to ask for their money back. Lack of accountability is the root cause of false reporting due to bias.
I also avoid getting into the commentary on this subject. I mean look at all the stale arguments and trolling on both sides. After all, who cares, after Dec 21 we're all toast anyway. Why waste time on saving a doomed planet. And even if we survive the Dec 21 thing, I saw on the history channel that the ancient aliens wiped out the dinosaurs, so how long before they get tired of the bozos in power screwing up everything just to hold on to their phoney jobs. I have to go, my dog is talking to me.
Thank you for providing such an apt example of "free speech is hate speech if I don't agree with it".

So, who is in charge of propaganda at MS these days?
Are you aware that the only reason you gave to vote for Gary Johnson is that he's not Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump? Despite their respective flaws, there are actually a lot of people who are worse than both of them.
I demand a list of those people, all 17 of them.

The real way to fight this is to not buy or install MS products.

The EU must be doing a great job of rounding up terrorists if only two of the ones left at large were bad enough to equal a less than100k fraudster.

It sure beats the previous popular method of firing a 9mm projectile into the brain.
The only way to settle the gun control argument is to put all the pro gun people and anti gun people in an arena and let them fight it out.

Patents and Copyrights were originally conceived to encourage this type of creativity for the good of everyone. How's that working out?
If you MP3 encode them it will reduce them to a legal size.
