    L4D and L4D2 with a console command and an extra controller too.

    And the new Magic the gathering game they just put on steam. And of course all those old emulated titles including arcade classics.

    Hey that's swell, but I just want to point out, not just to you but to everyone reading your comment thinking "adverts?!?" These can be turned off by flipping a switch in the interface section of steam's options menu. But I like you, am happy to read them when they show up and have not disabled them.

    Not built in, but I personally use it in the UK with a draytek vigor 110 ADSL PPPoA/E modem.

    I use their Vigor 110 modem at home, it's brilliant. It does a great job at converting PPPoA to PPPoE which lets you use a separate modem and router, thus giving you access to higher end routers.

    I hope they at least manage to incorporate some of what they've learnt into their integrated chips.

    Intel's integrated chips have been appallingly bad in the past, some incapable of decoding HD video with reasonable performance. Manufacturers using those intel integrated chips in their consumer level computers did a great deal of harm to the computer games industry.

    Source SDK absolutely. Get him a copy of TF2, which will come with Valve's Hammer software. Valve are quite supportive of their community and highlight the best new community maps on their tf2 blog. There are also DVDs in valve's shop on how to create maps.
