I'm a British citizen living in the US and I now carry a copy of the constitution when traveling, it wont help or stop them but atleast if I'm un-coperative I can site verse and go down in flames, along with the American dream of freedom.
Thats why I keep old food wrappers/post-it notes on my dash board, stop the spooks tracking me by barcode scanners hidden in the squeegies homeless people use to clean windsheilds.
I'm living in Vermont on an L1B Visa and caught a cold (I know in Vermont of all places!) and I was ask to show my drivers license, so I showed the pharmacist my UK drivers license, he recorded my license number and that was that.
Now how hard would it be to forge a foreign license?
More to the point how hard would it be to go import a shit load of medicine in a shipping create?
I agree with the removal of high fructose corn syrup and other extremely processed additives, however I don't see a problem with this protein. I think it's just the origins of the product, after all know one complains about adding a fruit extract for flavor and I pretty sure the protein will be synthesized so no worries about getting other blood flee contaminants.
And someone stole my car and used it in a crime I would be (under that logic) liable for that crime too?
Running an unsecured WiFi is not a smart idea but we can't punish people for being stupid otherwise many of my friends would spend there lives in jail.
Didn't the Spice Girls answer that question in the song 2 become 1? Also they are a more reliable source than a 2000 year old document that in all fairness has been so badly edited, translated and disproven over the years that you have to question it's validity.
In a previous/. article (Ancient fridge)we learned that a sterling engine can run off excess heat, so why not power the cooling system with a sterling engine?
The hot air from the cabinates could be pumped by the Stirling engine to the sterling engine, the work done will lower the air temperature which can then be pumped back to the rack.
Now I realize that a Stirling engine might not be able to extract enough energy to cool a rack in a on-going way, during normal operation it could run in a supplementary capacity with conventional air conditioning but in a power outage it could well buy the extra time needed to either get the chillers running or shut down the servers.
Plan B, keep old rig and play even older games. X-Wing Alliance runs realy good on a 1900XP Athlon with 1-and-a-quarter GB and an Geforce 7200. Plus older games I find have better gameplay.. kids todays with their anti-aliased fluid dynamic particle systems and cell processors, sorry this ol'timer does go on.
Actually AT&T have the right to conduct business in anyway they see fit and we (as the consumer) have the right to choose any ISP, it's the latter that keeps the former in check.
I've used vista and there are many thing that I dislike about it, not least it appears to have been designed by people from Marketing. I like my interfaces to be simple and clean, where as vista has too much going on, too many controlls within controls and special effects. I was very happy with the Win 2K and XP's interface.
Another thing that bugs me are the X million flavours, can we just stick to Server, Pro and Home! and as to why the new functionality can't be integrated into XP is beyond me.
Finaly the resourses it take to run (largely because of a bloated GUI IMHO) are way out of proportion.
Now I'll admit I am a bit of a technical Luddite but I will move forward if I can see a benifit... with vist I see it not.
Ages ago in a sceince lesson we were asked to analyse the idea of pulling rollers on the M25 motorway to capture the energy of vehicles that ran over them, well I sort of spotted the flaw in the plan being that the car would all get sucky MPG and polute more.
Now one decade later we have the same idea but with people, howmuch polution will that produce (though extra repiration)? also would not the capture of all the excess heat produced by said people to heat say water (save money on heating by getting the water from 10C to day 20->30C and reduce the strain on the A/C by lowering the Air temp+humidity) be better?
I'm sorry but I must now ask Ancient_Hacker to come with me to a secure facility and hit you over the head with a frying pan till you forget your apparently detailed knowledge of Saturn V technologies... I must also ask eveyone to not visit anyspace center that may have an old Saturn V rocket on display
We can not risk terrorists building a space program and reaching Mars befor us and claiming all the oil... I mean destroying our freedoms befor we do.

Why don't we consentrate on getting a good foot print on the moon, set up a base, maybe even a launch site w/orbital fueling and then... think about Mars. It's hundreds of millions of years old, it'll still be there next century and with a base on the moon to supply fuel at a fraction of the launch cost we can send a much, much better equiped mission there.
Also the technology developed to sustain life on the moon can be used on Mars with the added bonus that the moon is that much closer should anything go wrong. br.Until man goes to the moon I think we should consentrate on sending more driods to Mars, maybe set up a remote base built and run by robots.

How well to these batteries fair in the cold? If they are like the Li-ions in my video camera you'll get to the end of the street then they'll die.

Great so what percentage of the battery is being dumped out as heat? Surley an array of high bright LED's could kickout more light and almost no heat?
Verizon will probably cripple the phones detector/gps.

Autobots Transform and Roll Ou..BIZZZZTTTKKKK
Well to make the analogy work lets assume I was on vacation for a week and didn't know my car was stolen or being used for a crime.
And someone stole my car and used it in a crime I would be (under that logic) liable for that crime too?

Another though is that we already have sewage treatment plants, now if they could all convert poo to fuel I think that would be a huge surface area.

And lets not forget the $1B wasted on abstinance programs.
As we all know the people involved in starting the cursades and the the battle of Hastings all own tapastries that depicted war! Burn them all I says.
Sir, the possibility of successfully navigating an asteroid field is approximately 3,720 to 1.
