is that no one thought of this before now.

That is because it is too obvious. You see, in science you need to find the most complex way to solve a problem (it makes you sound smarter and you sounds like you know what you are talking about)

While I was driving home from the movie, I was talking with my friends on how freaking sweet it would be if they had used tech from the first three movies. I really enjoy that old-style look compared to the CGI crap they got nowadays. I mean look at Yoda. He was so fake and I just wouldn't believe it. In the original triology, he looked a lot better, albeit kinda cheesy. But that is what made it so good. They really messed up on that aspect.

I completely agree! I would have loved to see some puppet-magic with Yoda. That would have really made the movie awesome, but they did not. Most movies these days are screwing puppetery and going with CG scenes. CG scenes are good, but they just look so fake. I mean Yoda did not look real. In the original triology, he looked real. I think they failed in that aspect, they could have used more puppet magic. However, on the whole the movie was okay.

That would be nice to see. I assume that they would release an open source type OS if they did make one. I would most likely not use it because I lose all the stuff that is compatiable with Windows (Plus I am just too damn lazy to back-up everything). I think if Google really wanted to stab Microsoft would be to make the software open-source and be able to run all windows-based products. I do not believe that this will ever happen, but I would find it neat and would switch to it ASAP.

  21. Re:Microsoft's strategy. on Google Might Disappear in Five Years · · Score: 1

I honestly don't think they would make it suck. They most likely realize that it is better then what they have. If they were to buy it, I would say they would just take all the algorithms and just use them in their own searchs. Think of it more as taking the enemy and stealing everything they own. Then killing it.

Britney Spears is sure as hell not an artist. She is just given stuff to sing, then everyone else makes it better through digital re-enhancment.

CDs are so damn expensive it's pathetic. Just for a simple 20-track CD cost me about $22 CDN. I mean seriously, this is just a guess, it takes maybe a few million at most to produce an album? (Anyone who records CDs can correct me). A CD costs a good $30ish for 100. Why should we pay so much for an album. I mean if we here that they sell a couple million, they have now made back their money and a profit. I think this is a good thing buisness-wise, but you would still make a profit, and probably get more people to buy CDs, if you just lowered the damn price!

Of course, if you stop buying CDs, how will you get new music?
