  1. Nasa Reps? on Astrologer Sues NASA Over Comet Probe · · Score: 2, Funny

FTA: "NASA representatives in Russia could not be reached for comment on the case" My guess is they were too busy laughing their asses off at this suit

That is a very large part of the internet, just because you don't find the services they offer useful, doesn't mean there isn't a large group that does

In Canada the satillite service provider Expressvue is run by the phone company (Bell) who also offer high speed DSL (Sympatico). Bundling is great as the satillite monthly costs are cheaper than the cable company's (Rogers)and the internet costs are the same, less for me since I own my dsl modem.

My sentiments exactly, its like the Terry Shiavo case if something (or someone) is dying; let them. No use delaying the inevitiable. Whats going to happen at the end of Season 5, the same thing, people are going to fight for a 6th. I am and always have been a huge trek fan, but even I never became interested in Enterprise

  7. Re:Artificial shortage, artificial problems on Loophole found in Internet Domain Naming · · Score: 1

It seems to me that it is too late to try to regulate with new domains intended for individual groups, i.e. *.pro People are now used to .com .net .org you cannot expect people's habits in regards to the net to change. People will use .com as that is what they have been using. The only way to implement new TLDs would have to been to have the forsight to implement them in the beginning or early on, such as .ca .gov etc., but that didn't happen so now they are trying to add confusion in order to essentially make more money.

I'm a huge supporter of space travel, I was just pointing out that the man-made problems we manufacture will still be problems no matter where we go; pollution, war, resource depletion. But space is our best option

its true, any problems they try to escape will just follow us, its human nature. They probably thought that moving to North America would solve the problems they were having in the old world, they just followed us, and everyone developed new problems to deal with anyway

its funny most of the people here complain that Dell doesn't carry AMD, but more than likely they wouldn't even buy one from them if they did.
