Too bad I didn't have the same luck. In my FB profile I restricted the @facebook.com email to be only visible by my (no access wasn't an option). When I sent a test message from Gmail it was delivered to my FB messages.
Agreed it isn't a Mac mark up but Mac users are more easily parted with their money so why not show them the pricier hotels. Especially if they are getting a percentage.
Actually there is one other big disadvantage with a single bar. When you are not focused on an application you can't see its menus. I usually have a few apps on screen at once and it would be really annoying to have to select one before being able to see its menu, let alone select an item from it.
THIS! Even after using a Mac for years I still can't stand the single menu design. Don't expect them to fix it anytime soon though. They still have a single button mouse enabled by default.
The networks won't be able to sell advertising if everyone is able to skip ads.
Maybe people wouldn't want to skip the ads if they thought the were informative, relative to their needs, and not intrusive. Perhaps the TV advertising companies need to rethink things.... perhaps not.
iTunes is one of the worst applications IMHO. Counter intuitive, stubborn, ughh... Most people I know (PC and Mac users) agree somewhat but it is a necessary evil.
We ditched land line and TV service last summer. Currently we watch OTA, Hulu Plus, and Netflix (DVD and stream). None of us feel like we are missing anything worth the cost of TV service. Amazon Prime may get added to the list.
You do realize they sold many WiMax phones with the understanding that they would build out the WiMax network. They did very little WiMax expansion. Was that the plan all along or poor planning? Either way the customers lose and some will leave Sprint.
I'm not arguing for or against the death penalty. I see your point and agree somewhat. Yes, some corporations exhibit criminal behavior. However, corporations aren't people. Corporations are run by people that make the decisions and create the corporate culture yet the people in the corporations are too insulated from the punishment.
It is not the same. Penalties for breaking laws are established to discourage unacceptable behavior. I think most would agree that the death discourages behavior more than disbandment.
Apple is a design company not a manufacturing company. Their products aren't really THAT different but they are marketed that way and their customers buy into the whole Apple "it just works" experience even though it ain't all that all the time.
Greywater is wastewater generated from domestic activities such as laundry, dishwashing, and bathing, which can be recycled on-site for uses such as landscape irrigation and constructed wetlands. Greywater differs from water from the toilets which is designated sewage or blackwater to indicate it contains human waste.Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greywater
Reclaimed water or recycled water, is former wastewater (sewage) that is treated to remove solids and certain impurities, and used in sustainable landscaping irrigation or to recharge groundwater aquifers. The purpose of these processes is sustainability and water conservation, rather than discharging the treated water to surface waters such as rivers and oceans. MS was able to afford mistakes in the desktop market because they were pretty much a monopoly. They had a huge user base that would just wait. The customers had no real alternative.
MS is not in the same situation with the mobile market. They are not a monopoly, they do not have a significant market share, and it is a different market.
Only time will tell if MS makes the right or wrong choices to win back some of the mobile market share.
note: I deliberately avoided the whole topic of the mobile and desktop OS markets merging.
Hey in the US you can file a lawsuit no matter what. There always seems to be a lawyer willing to work an angle. Perhaps the mandatory binding arbitration will be contested at some point. Not much surprises me with the laws and the lawyers.
Exactly. You should pay less per month once you are at the end of your contract or buy the phone out right. They probably won't ever actually call it a subsidy but everyone knows that is what it is. Eventually some lawyers will probably put together a class action lawsuit and we will all get some free SMS messages as a settlement.

arghh

So if I didn't want a public email address on my FB profile then why would I want one now?
How about LTE or 3G?

"Part of Android's beauty is that OEM customisations allow consumers to vote with their feet."
It isn't that easy in the US. Most people get locked into two year contracts. Changing hardware or carriers before the contract ends comes at a price.

If they don't go after him doesn't it show some kind of prejudice? :-)

I suggest everyone read up on that ruling and understand it was applied to a very specific situation.
"lined with turns of tape" makes the network geek in me picture this as STP.

Can he defend their WiMax flub? Can he defend contracting with a company that has a non-existant LTE solution?
I follow you but you need to realize that not every corporation is publicly traded or has stakeholders they are beholden to.

Can corporations serve jail time or be put to death?

Social engineering FTW ... again.
I still have to use Google to find things on microsoft.com because Bing doesn't cut it. Sad.
