Even so, it is wrong to ridicule Christianity. Most Christians simply laugh off this guy, myself included, even down here in the 'Bible Belt'. Trust me, he is all politics and this has nothing to do with his Christianity.

Thanks for disrespecting Christianity, which has nothing to do wih this in the same way that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism. If faith is/was at all mentioned it was only as a mask for pure politics my friend.

Actually the tape in question was originally invente4d by the military during World War II and called duck tape as water 'rolled off' of it like a ducks back. It was later rechristened as duct tape after the war when it proved valuable for duct repairs as well, so both names are right.

Does Blockbuster demand that you work for them to distribute content for 30x the time you are allowed to view it? I didn't think so. I would be totally cool with this if they didn't force you to seed against your own will, stealing your bandwidth. That's pretty lame.

  20. Re:Could it be? on JPEG Patent Challenged · · Score: 1

JPEG and PNG are totally different. JPEGs are compressed and lossy, so they are better for photos, and also consume way less bandwidth and storage space as they produce much smaller files. PNG, OTOH is lossless so it is bigger and probably undesirable for photos. Comparing the two is apples to oranges.

While you are right about MS, considering the context I would advise you to leave town for a while and keep your head town till the dust settles. Then return under a pseudonym.

In personal experience, on a different note, MS office is a little snappier than OOo and while some things I think it could do a lot better (or even not do) It does have many upsides, not to mention a large, pervasive corporation to call for support.
