Because it says "as we know it" so that means that E3 is evolving. What is it evolving into? Perhaps E3R1? The Electronic Entertainment Expo Revisited?
Only time will tell.
If they were to make some changes to the class uses for either side, like making the Horde paladins something like Anti-paladins and making the Alliance shamans some kind of basic Totemic class and using that to adjust the usage of the classes.
*shrugs* I agree with RsG that it won't really affect anything other than the game's sense of orginiality.
Now watch as the stem cells migrate through the circulatory system toward the heart. Many will not make this journey, but the ones that do will survive to become new and improved heart cells.
Nature is beautiful, isn't it?
Great, another new idea for technology that won't get shipped to anyone but us Americans because it can be turned into an IED.
That's what I want for Christmas, a volitile explosive compound inside of an electrical device next to my HEAD!
Look at the conditions. First, the porn site must say it's a porn site. They do that already. Second, the site must have a separate entrance page that doesn't display any explicit content, that's done already too. The third part is that it can't mislead people into visiting the site by displaying things that aren't sexually graphic.
Forgive me but this seems like a cover bill that codifies what's already done so they can tack on other random crap.
My god, this is the whole Janet Jackson crap all over again.
First off, without the third-party code this content is completely inaccessable. Hence, it really shouldn't be a problem for the ESRB.
They buckled to political pressure, and that is what is wrong here. The ESRB is an independent organization designed to offer suggestions on what people should be playing their games, since that's all ratings are.
How about we just have two ratings. GK and NGK: Good for Kids, and Not Good for Kids.
That way it's clear to any idiot out there that some games just aren't meant for people too young to handle the content.
But wait! Age doesn't determine who's mature enough.
How about we keep the rating for GTA and just issue a press release saying in so many words that "The people who want the rating changed are not our core consumers, nor are they any form of expert on what is and is not decent. We will not change the rating just because you don't understand the situation. And we would like to say to those who criticize us for this decision to go out into the world and find out how technology works before jumping on our backs."
Where's the link to which we can send letters to the ESRB?

Speaking as an average gamer I have only one word in response to all this Sony-based hype: Daikatana

If we're all made of spirals, while living in a giant spiral, then everything we put our hands to is infused with the spiral.
IT'S ALL COMING TRUE! EVERYBODY PANIC IN A POSITIVE, GOD-LOVING WAY!!!!
Why would you want to use WMP for Ogg when winamp does it just fine?
