Wrong, and you contradict yourself. It also has side buttons for invoking exposé.
1. False. Have you even used one? You can leave both fingers on the mouse and click with the right one and it...wait for it...right clicks! Are you sure you aren't talking about the track pad and NOT the Might Mouse?
2. Uh, it's an optical mouse. If you pick up ANY optical mouse you can't drag. Have you even EVER used an optical mouse? If you have a very large monitor you simply increase the tracking speed and there is absolutely NO problem with long drags.
3. Again, you clearly have NO idea what you are talking about. The track ball default click actually invokes the Dashboard, so unless you change it clicking really is not an issue unless you have boxing gloves with ten pound weights tide to them for fingers. Even still, it's not THAT easy to click unless you have severe parkinson's or something. The tiny ball also allows for diagonal scrolling -- a positive boon when working with large layouts on wide monitors, but handy pretty much any time.
I really wish you would do some personal research (instead of spewing drivel from some half-baked review) so that you actually know what you are talking about.
Oh? What don't you like about it? How many places have you been to in India? Is it the country in general you don't like or the people? Is it because of their political system or because of the size of their population? Please explain.
"For each version of Mac OS 10.0 forward that upgrade has a cost associated with at. usally between 200 and 400 bucks."
Each new version of Mac OS X costs $120US full price but can ALWAYS be had for under $100. So lets see, since version 10.0 there have been four upgrades (in five and a half years). Assuming you actually MUST have each new version (a common and very ignorant assumption), you would pay a full retail price (but WHY when you easily get it for $90?) of about $480. That's a FAR cry from the $800 to $1600 numbers you pulled out of your ass. How much have you paid for annual virus and malware protection in the past five years (ok so not YOU personally since you haven't upgraded anything in five years, but the average user)?
Apple hasn't generally been referred to as "beleaguered" by the main-stream press in a decade. There are still those who try and predict Apple's death (51 times since 1995 - http://www.macobserver.com/appledeathknell/index.s html) but they have always been hilariously wrong.
Apple is having it's own financial reporting issues of late, and these have been widely covered in the media.
SWG, UO and CoH/V have whopping 3.8% of the market COMBINED. WoW has 52.9%. Those are hardly Windows-only success stories. In fact, the only game that offers true native Mac support, WoW, is the only game that can truly call itself Massively Multiplayer. There rest are little more than pretenders.
Any company that ignores 20 million relatively affluent users does so at it's peril. WoW has proved that by NOT ignoring them.
And ALL of the games just mentioned, have a miniscule subscriber base compared to WoW. Since the context of this article is whether or not another game will displace WoW -- not whether a bunch of Windows users will play the game or not -- this game is destined to be relegated to the also ran catagory. So since it will NOT replace WoW it WILL fail. Mark my words. It will just be another D&D with a tiny, but no doubt loyal, fan base. It will never be another WoW.
"Guess who's going to run most of the WiMax networks."
And charge a ridiculous price for them too, just as they do now for cell phones. Some day they will be defeated however, just as the telcos have been by the likes of Vonage and Skype. And people will flock from them in droves after years of being fed up with being raped by their inflated prices.
While I happen to agree with you and also wonder why so many love Apple, I tend to believe it's partly an underdog culture. Many people love to root for the underdog. In this case, because of Microsoft's OS dominance, Apple is a viable contender for many people. If the day ever comes where Apple is an big as MS or Dell, it will become as much a target of derision and scorn as those two titans are.
Because he was apparently expecting a MacWorld Expo presentation with lots of pizzaz and consumer appeal, instead of a nuts and bolts preview for developers.
Dream on. They would become just another PC vendor with lacklustre sales and falling share prices. Like, um, Dell. Now for my prediction, which is probably every bit as accurate as yours: Apple will continue to do what they are doing now and continue make boatloads of cash for their shareholders. Their market share will increase slowly, just as it has been doing. They will ingore calls from the do-it-yourselfers to let them run OS X on their crappy off the shelf box of parts. They will contiue to do vERY well because of this decision.
If anybody thinks the cops are any different in Canada they are living in fantasy land.
Canada is a very large and diverse country, with many police forces. There is simply no way anybody can generalize about the police and be at all accurate. Some local cops in Ottawa or Edmonton or any other city or province or even the RCMP can be just as corrupt as cops anywhere. They can be and sometimes they are. Probably most aren't, just as most citizens are law abiding, but there are usually a few bad apples in nearly barrel.
I would wager that many Canadians have story or two to tell about their experiences with police corruption. I know I do.
I don't know for sure but from what I've read about Brazil's experience at becoming self-sufficient with Ethanol, sugar cain is quite a bit more efficient than corn, and takes less energy to convert. This sounds like an enormous export opportunity for countries that can grow sugar cain.
Ten years from now? I predict most fuel will still be from petrolium. The Alberta Tar Sands are a huge source and producing from oil from them will become cheaper over the next ten years.

Elections are pretty expensive. It takes a lot of taxpayer money to organize, and pay for, an election. You want to quadruple that cost?
You do know that the standard Apple mouse, the Mighty Mouse, is a four button mouse, right? Just order one with your MacBook Pro.
What same features? Viruses?
"...and it lost the hardcore PvP crowd."
And it has become the most popular MMORPG of all time. I guess there's a lesson to be learned from their experience.

The man is 89 years old. He could be long dead and burried by the time it goes to court. There's hardly an incentive here for the lawyer to settle.
Here's the link to illustrate my point:

Star Trek Online will be Windows only. It will fail.

I can't think of any IT departments that build PCs. Most also want a guarantee and support with the purchases.
"I am sorry, but the problem here is NOT that the US is falling behind in technology to Europe, but that the country is more sparsly populated."
...the problem is that the US is falling behind in technology to Europe, and the country is more sparsly populated?
Shouldn't that read:
Man given disproportionately large sentence for the crime he committed. Taxpayers foot bill. That is all.
I'm sure Adobe will be more than happy to take the money instead.
Actually, this device could protect you from unethical cops who lie about how fast you were going so they can meet their ticket quota.
