But have you considered what fresh hell it must be for her? She has to exist with a condition that best leaves her unable to control how/when she experiences sexual desire. And unlike guys, she can't just "ignore it." It would be like walking around with a boner that won't go down. It would be socially painful to do anything normal, go watch kids on a playground for example. Can you imagine the pure humilation she experiances when she doesn't have control over her body?

I have a more interesting idea. The toys are assembled ad hoc using nano assemblers, the bag merely contains the materials to assemble the toys using predefined parameters. I'm curious what kind of codec they'll be using. That's something no one has stopped to ask it looks like. If they were to use something like motion jpeg they MIGHT get away with it. It'll make you shudder at the quality, but the compression would be helpful.

  16. Re:Latency on OnLive and Gaikai — How To Stop a Gaming Revolution · · Score: 1

You argue that latency is not going to be overcome anytime soon. While I can see your point about sending video vs real time data, I would have to argue against that. Not the benefits/risks about delivering the medium, but the latency issue. As it stands, we are using copper to send information. And you are correct in pointing out that latency is a huge issue there. But you also seem to argue that its a issue that is impossible to overcome in the future. That's where I have to disagree. The trend seems to be a combination of Fiber to the home and fiber to the node. And I won't disagree that the connection itself isn't the only problem, it is one that can be remedied in the future. You'll still see latency of course, but more then likely 50ms will be on the high end.

That's a drive that seems to be uniquely human. As far as I know, no animal on earth goes around comparing surrounding species to themselves. I use the earth animal example because we have no other species to compare in the vicinity of our solar system. But back to the point, What if they arrive and simply ignore us?
