Being able to set custom keybindings. Workspaces...in a grid. Alt-Tab to any running app on any desktop.
Ya know, all the things that Gnome 3 actually did right (no matter how much I've come to despise it), and the Mint team decided to break. For now I'll just keep on trucking along with XFCE, and if Clem and the gang ever decide to stop fucking with login manager settings and fix some of their outstanding bugs, maybe I'll give Cinnamon another look.
Not quite. Atom is still good for non-gaming low-powered workstations and laptops. Pretty much every current computer I use, except the i5 at work that my boss pays the electric bill for.
Yeah I mean who wants a desktop that's still being maintained (I'm an XFCE user), or a web browser and email client that aren't EOL before the OS is even released? It's crazy I tell ya.
Umm cPanel does support PostgreSQL. I don't particularly care for it as I'm a MySQL guy, but I've done many a Postgres install on cPanel servers and enabled it in WHM/cpanel.
It would seem it is not harder, since uNetbootin dosn't work at all. I'll take one quick command that works over several commands to install a GUI to click a button that downloads an ISO to unpack onto a USB....and then fails
Nothing wrong with kernel 3.2. If I had any serious gripe about this release it's the fact that it comes with XFCE 4.8. Since 4.10 released over a year ago, there's really no excuse for shipping a stable distro with the older version. Thankfully there are third party repos for thse of us who want to run stable, but with a reasonable version of XFCE.
1. Just because you use a standard image, doesn't mean all passwords have to be the same. It's quite easy to generate a random password and have that password updated in a database or sent somewhere for retrieval with kickstart.
2. This is for Fedora. Anyone deploying Fedora in a work environment, needs to be fired immediately. It's in no way considered stable and it's supported for a total of 13 months from the day of it's release. That's not even close to a reasonable lifetime.
3. What in the actual fuck, does any of this, have to do with Windows or Genuine Advantage?
Yes! All we need is a train-ship-thing made of unobtainium and a motley crew of genius scientists and astronauts. To work it will be absolutely essential that the co-pilot is fairly hot but completely incompetent, and be banging one of the scientists by the end of the movi...err...expedition.
Works perfect on both OpenSUSE and Fedora. I'm assuming the same is true of Mint since it's Ubuntu based. I hear it's no big deal to get it running on Arch as well. It's not like Ubuntu has a lock on Steam or anything.
No kidding. Not to mention, that now that they've ironed out some of the bugs in the current Unity, the plan is to completely rewrite it in Qt/QML, and this release is only supported for 9 months. This is pretty much the most pointless release of Ubuntu to date.
Ahh Robin Ventura. Also known as the retard who tried to charge Nolan Ryan and got his ass beat by an old man. One of my fonder memories from spending a good part of my life attached to a 1st base side seat in Arlington.
I'm just gonna leave this here.

Here I am with mod points, but there doesn't seem to be a -1 Dumbass option in the dropdown.
Indeed. Ubuntu ain't got shit on anyone until I see a game of Tetris in the installer.
I've got a mangina. I'm old Greeeeg!

You know what I love?

You guys have fun with that. Firefox 17 is still kickin along just fine here.
Do we really have to have this conversation every single time any software releases version_dot_ten? It's getting a bit old at this point.
You got an extra s in there, yo.
"Linux 3.10 Merge Windows" had me getting ready to scout out a new OS.
The merge window closing, however, is a good thing.
If you're one of those who shops at Whole Foods, you ARE the rabble. Just of a different sort.

Well you'll have to forgive me. Since I never ran Windows to begin with, yes I tend to think in terms of UNIX-like systems for everything.

dd if=debian.iso of=/dev/usbdevice
Not exactly rocket science. Actually it's even simpler than writing it to a cdr.

Since LMDE tracks testing, the answer would be it already did, and has moved on since then.
Three things.

It's not competitive pressures. You've bahaved like a total douchenozzle. Don't be surprised when people start pointing it out to you.

An insect that will frst fuck you, then kill you by beheading?
Linode hacked again!? Seriously, for the premium they're charging, beefing up security might do well to be added to their todo list.
